Who Is Making Waves Now
childhoodsend
This is a new song that started as a guitar pick, then got some words. I finally recorded this. It has 3 parts. Nylon guitar, Electric and voice. This is part of the “human racing” series I am working on.
Matter is surprising
Not what it seems to be
Looking down inside it
Waves of energy
Science opens everything
How creation’s made
Join me in looking.
Maybe you can see it
Look a little more
I wonder where we’re going
Seems like everyone forgets
To keep on growing
Beginning of the universe
How it all began
Patterns of energy
Blew into galaxies
Creating stars and emptiness
Making worlds like ours
So much co-incidence
Maybe you can see it
Look a little more
I wonder where we’re going
Seems like everyone forgets
To keep on growing
Our brains are surprising
Neurons firing up
Thoughts and feelings turn out to be
Waves of energy
We cannot find them anywhere
No matter how we try
Join me in looking
Maybe you can see it
Look a little more
I wonder where we’re going
Seems like everyone forgets
To keep on growing
The laws of nature that you see
Started before the sun
Living out in you and me
And in everyone
The universe is driving life
We in turn can see
What should we be doing

So poignant! Wonderful song, beautifully done.
Wonderful...great song.
Beautiful song, very atmospheric!
Ahh, beautiful! I love this track.
Thanks for your comments man. Yeah I heard about Ramen. I might have something in the works. Time is my worst enemy right now though. Still love this track by the way!
this is marvelous!! thanks so much for sharing it with me!
child hoods end was one of my favorite books from age 12 . I enjoyed this tull-esque song .
final comment the music stops about 8:10 into the piece though the track goes on till 8:58
Very Interesting...not many folks mix music, and it is very nice music, with a take on science,,, how did you come to do this by the way?? myself, in my other life (occupation) i am a physicists myself,, though i deal with the earth as in earthquake problems,,, i never though to do a science song myself,,, very novel,, the music is a pretty setting to discuss such topics.....it reminds me a tiny bit of a moody blues type subject... by the way are you a fan of Arthur Clark??.... such a long note, guess i got carried away as i listen to the waves
this is very pleasant.
Still a great song!
Ooo a bar of Galaxy and a Baileys, curl up time.
great lyrics, great song. Nice guitar playing and a cool soothing voice to go with it. Nice job!
I didn't really get in to this song before, I have now, it's hauntingly beautiful and your delivery is touching!
SO thought provoking and tenderly sung. Lovely music.
Thought provoking! Nicely played too.
Just such a talented song-writer. Something to aspire to. I just finished a sentence with "to". That's terrible English, but...
I am spellbound!
