Lyrics for the bridge
Logically there's room for all questions
Though the answers aren't all known,
Objectivities the myth of plenty,
Who doubt His truth within their soul.

Now with more awesomeness! Thank you to This Wretched Vessel Lead vocalist for adding in some Gang vocals to beef up the chorus. Also borrowing their percussionist for some tambourine to give the song some extra pop!
You know I can’t think…

This is like a lost Railway Children song from a session where they were letting one of the other guys sing for once. Nice work, and it features your usual upbeat lyrical content! :)
Cover of one of my favourite RPMers. Tried to just make it different and have fun with it. This was definitely one of the stand out tunes this year. Didn't even want to touch it as a cover but I could not help myself. Hope Wilsun likes it…

Brian of A Beautiful Scene wrote an amazing tune for the 2020 A Beautiful Scene RPM record and I couldn't get it out of my head. I hope I did it justice.
(updated May 10 with a slightly different mix)
Written for the April 2020 RPM mini-challenge. I hoped for an EP and ended up with a single song. The song is largely recorded on a T25 mic I built for Brian of A Beautiful Scene as a means to test the mic. It's pretty solid if you ask me…
This song perfectly encapsulates the feeling towards writing music, especially for RPM. Even with it's light humour, it still has a weight to it that commands an emotional response for all of those who have written a catalogues worth of songs. Well done Tim!

One thing I like about covers is turning a song on its head, so that's what I did with this tune from the great ABS album "The Far Side Of Paradise". I hope I made Lane proud.
I love Wilsun's 2020 RPM album "Departure", so I decided to cover it (yes, the whole album), but with a twist. I found some bits to be repetitive, so I removed them. I wrote down the lyrics and chords, and promptly ignored the originals, making…
Taken from the album ‘The Weight Of Water’, from 2007. (This is a new mix, for 2014.)
Written and performed by Rog Hildreth.
Sometimes I challenge myself to write and record a song from scratch in a single day. This is a story song which…
It is nice to see a band returning to rock roots and evolving their sound from there. Instead of that modern rock sound like Nickleback that has been sweeping the nation. Bravo gentlemen, bravo.
A cover of a 2010 RPM Challenge song by A Beautiful Scene. Lyrics:
Pouring Rain by A Beautiful Scene
This year I thought of you, far too many times
And it’s made me think
Of things that’ve become over there and they…
And how do I know…
I love your take on this song! this is one of those songs I wrote and recorded in one night, so the guitar wasn't really thought out. You made it sound beautiful. I love the second guitar in place of the organ as well. Very well done sir.
I've gone more acoustic for this piece with bass and guitars courtesy of Jaz Arwand and the lovely, airy sound of Jess Spencer's voice. The song is about empathy or lack thereof.
Comments on A Beautiful Scene's stuff
Well done. Cool rocking song. BTW, thanks for listening to my songs.
Agree with (WilSun, I assume?) sounds real good now! Any RPM '23? Thanks btw!
Are you English?
Love this. The pulsating...
Is that all you? Great vocal...
Great production! Such an emotional song! Great vocal mix. I'd like to hear a bit more of the lead vocal.
Sounds great already, demo or not. Amazing vocals!
This is TIGHT. Dang.
Digging this track.
Whoa. The revision with the new backing vocals is really great!
Oh wow...so, so good. The song just came pouring out of my speakers and filled up the room.
Great acoustic sound and atmosphere, awesome vocals!

Holy. Crap. This sounds epic!
This sounds like an 80s metal power ballad, and I mean that in all the best possible ways.
Love this!
This sounds amazing! I'm so honored for the cover, thank you!
LOVE IT

Love the new mix! Nailed those "slidey" guitar parts!

Wonderfully done Tim!
Quite beautiful indeed! Nice dig on cover this particular one!
Haha haha! It really is Boy’s don’t cry. Great cover!
This is an incredible RPM album - Well done!
Just going through your tunes, you have a lot of good stuff in here. I look forward to hearing more of it!
Love your songs and your sound. Definitely one of the most talented artists I have heard. Appreciate your music and hope you make a lot more of it.

There is some good stuff here mate. I think you need to find yourself a good lyricist/ singer and make a record.
This is the darkest, most poppy song I have ever heard. I like it. I would love to hear more like it in the future of music...

This reminds me of the Cardigans in a very good way. A lot less poppy and quite dark which shows passion. Very good track!
