Hey! Greetings from Germany. Thanks for checking out our music. There’s definitely a difference in style. I really like your intimate and personal sound.
The percussiveness is what I like about this song.
Exploring different styles of music is what makes listening to RPM Radio so much fun!
Is THIS why I didn't get her???? I was certain Santa had her wrapped up ready for me this time and then on the day it was just the usual stuff under the tree
All I used here was the Yamaha nylon string. No effects, no other instruments, just was how the mic picked up what I was doing. I wish I had gone longer.
You might not believe this but, on all the tracks except "Lookin' For Love" I used an old Yamaha nylon string guitar. Rhythm instruments when used where either an old kick drum pedal against some packing foam that is screwed to the back of my old bass amp cab (cab isn't being used), stomping a kids tambourine or just my foot bumping on the floor (which I didn't realize until later was being picked up by the mic). Thanks much for listening :)
Going through my collection over the years...thinking I'll post some of those old tunes (pretty rough and ready....one take, recorded on garage band I believe). Why not...life is short! Thanks to anyone who listens :)
Waldo has decided to journey out to find Carmen.
The accompanying song is a lovely shanty tune based on "A Drop of Nelson's Blood" Sung by the Mayoral Choir, the CoE presents; Another RPM
Picture Waldo in his first bar getting ready to…
Saying Sorry ....What a drag!
Saying Sorry
I ain’t no innocent
I don’t pretend to be
I’ve always wanted to go through this life hoping just float free
But then today it all went wrong
Everybody seems to hate me
When I’m just trying…
Maggie’s beautiful, heartbreaking hymn to loved ones lost too soon.
The intense, somber feeling of loss, both individual and communal, and support in the room as the other 6 or 7 of us listened to Maggie and Sara Beth perform the first take…
I asked to robots to help me write a song in the style of Tom Waits.
Riding on a train to the edge of town
Where the night has just begun
People on the street with nowhere to go
Living hard and having fun
Everywhere I go there’s a song…
Okay, I was cut off so here goes again: I really like this. I can hear Tom singing this in my mind and it's really cool as well. You did a great job on this. One of my favorites. Dave C. (acoustic57) :-)
Nice. Different in a good way. I've been doing the annual RPM challenge for February. You got me thinking maybe I should try the monthly version. Good job. Looking forward to hearing more.
Hey, I'm really liking your ambient sounds. Also, you have great volume on your tracks. I need to learn how to do that. Great work. keep 'em coming :-)

Cool song and that stripped back accompaniment works well. You have a great timbre in your voice.
