still one of my personal faves. - although i'd wish to redo some parts, i'm stuck with this version, since i don't own one of the synths used there anymore..

Rumba Columbia is a traditional Cuban pattern in 6: the "go-to" pattern for 12/8 - if you have only heard one Afro-Cuban rhythm in 12/8, this is probably it. As an energetic Afro-Cuban dance, Rumba was often suppressed and restricted because it…
I picked up on one of Norm's wonderful grooves.
I added some bass, guitar, horns, and a basic drum track. Kicker and snare with a few cymbols. I didn't want to walk on Norm's fine, fine, percussion.
Thanks Norm for allowing me the opportunity…
A second version with the initial lead guitar standing alone...a little cluttered after a few listens and some constructive feedback!
Norm's Groove for St Monica inspired this one. Thanks Norm!
Lead Guitar, bass guitar and acoustic guitar…
A long over due changing of the acoustic strings led to this epic production. 40 tracks and 34 plug-ins. Good Gravy that's a boat load of tracks. All kinds of stuff happening.
Enjoy!

Much more captivating when I came back for a second helping.
Hypnotic. Pulled me right in on the beam. Spiffy engineering too.
Still updating my little studio....needed a pick me up...coffee not working. :)
a thoroughly enjoyable listening experience. thanks.
Have you uploaded "54" yet? Not rushing you, your last comment seemed like you had and i miss it.
Superb piece of work man! First rate!

Work of art my man, work of art. I humbly salute you.
Amazing ambiance. I love these chill grooves. Very smooth. Thank you!
Impressive blend of sounds - this song has a very unique atmosphere, and it is even danceable
I wish I had something sensible to say - I just love these fresh and effortlessly exotic sounds!
Oh, nice rhythm. A very exotic and compelling track.
nice ending too.
dig vocal moan sample that starts up after a minute. smooth stuff, yet very interesting.
Outstanding! Another great percussion track, which we have come to expect from you. Thanks for posting this!
boy, are you ever going through a creative period - everything is sounding top notch - I love the percussion + ambiance style here. World electro?
Well done! w;-)

so creative and unique, in many ways.. - and quite an unusual "style" for you ;)
ahahah excellent! was meant to happen, i guess..
i'm sorry but.. where is the cuica? :p - ok, ok, joke aside, this is as good as some martinez & herrera jam!
oh surprise, surprise! and quite an unexpected direction: funky and orchestral, that's a sweet retro-flavored piece! :)
takes a bit of time to settle in, but after the 1st minute, it's just tasty! excellent jammin'!
super fly.. great play and very groovy! mi gusto mucho!
wow! that's some crazy tribalistic dark pop, epic in places, and this primitive "uuhh!" is excellent!
funny how rumba turned into some 50s rock&roll :)
whether one likes this genre or not, that is certainly a very entertaining song, in its most musical sense. bravo!
where is the cuica? :p
ahahaha, excellent!!
pretty good! could you tell more about the production?
excellent!! really not my usual cup of tea, lately, but this is way too good to not be faved at once!
ahahaha!! excellent! :)
brilliant, most brilliant! your motif is very evocative - and the playing is carrying a lot of emotions..
brings me memories of some retro film noirs from the 50s - and the mismatch with the kid(?) voice is excellent..
i can hear the pachyderms, but where is the mouse? :p
nice flow - is that true story?
excellent fuss..
interesting soundscape, with some good sceneries. - are your hiatus between each sequence intentional?
