New one from me. It's ended up as a bit of a "crying into yer beer at Bob's Country Bunker" sort of song lol...
I've been sat on these lyrics in some form or another for absolutely years. I first wrote them one very dark night a few years after…
First new one from me in a long time.
Kind of a love song, I guess.
Recorded in my new "studio" (3rd bedroom in the new house). Almost up and running now... shine and don't stop wondering!

A new original from me. Another one-voice, one-guitar, "live" performance in my broom-cupboard. This time it's the good ole tin guitar.
I wrote this one in 2002 during the "dark years" lol. I've ummed and aahed over the years on whether to…
So I was locked in the broom-cupboard, checking out some old songs that need recording.
I'd just picked one and then suddenly this thing came out of nowehere. It started with one of those guitarist doodles that other musicians love so much…

A tale of keeping your head above the water, or not...
Recorded Jan-Feb 2011.
I wrote it many years ago, never thought I'd ever do anything with it.
I intended to record this with just an acoustic and my new EDB (electric upright bass…

Acoustic ghost story. Recorded 2010.
Easter 2010 I decided…
I can't quite believe that I'm posting this, or that I've even recorded it. But I've played it like this sat on the sofa in the living room for many years, and I needed something to check out how to record a live "one vocal and one guitar" song…
Pop-rock song. Recorded 2009.
I wrote this several years earlier and rehearsed it with the last band I was in.
The recording was my first "serious" project on my Boss MBR, I was stunned that you could do something like this on a little silver…
Great stuff Andrew. Have a listen to my solo stuff...Tiggy Acworth. Many thanks for so many kind words...keep singing and eventually the world will hear!

That be some good production right there. Dag nabit! I enjoy the different looks of the verse sections as the progresses. And the big vocal harmonies...I thought that ac gtr lick was gonna fly off into django territory.....always fun listening to your tunes. I learn something everytime.

A few months back we had a "Beatlesfest" on songcrafters.org.
I contributed this and Yesterday.
This one's a bit of a departure for me. Not the song itself - it's been one of my favourites ever since I was tiny (I preferred Robin Gibb's…
Oh yeah, I love me some Beatles! Any Beatles, even the trippier stuff (maybe especially, haha). This one is certainly a fave of mine, and you give a great rendition here. I did not know Robin Gibb had a version of this, dang Imma have to check that out too! You definitely have the soulfulness down, as I feel that's what the song entails. Great great great! =D

I could sit and chill with your music all day, it's quite relaxing and thoughtful. Much respect over here, lovin the smooth blues-y, folk-y sounds. Very very much so. And the stories you tell are impeccable, I can feel the emotion. You're very real. Keep it up!

I'm sorry to say I don't know the original, but your version.... well, wow! It reminds me of "Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley.... I don't know why, but perhaps it's in the same vein. I don't know, but anyway, just beautiful, really.

I was looking through my messages and found this collab i did with Kari a while back in 2017 i had forgotten all about. so pleased i found it thanks Kari
I genuinely have no idea where this bright, breezy & happy little 3 minute tune came from - it's in stark contrast to the world around us right now...
The song started with just the bass riff, as heard in the verse - it came to me while…
So, to number 10, and what will be the last one I think for this most enjoyable Lockdown project. A shortish one, and fittingly perhaps called 'Finale', I brought in the big guns with the Cathedral organ, and with a bit of a stereotype last few…
I tried to do something a little weirder rhythmically and ended up with something that feels just a little off. Just a little out of time, just a little ragged. I don't know. I don't think the song is bad, it's all just a smidgen off.

GONE - My sequester song...
Chain wrapped around the dog park gate
Weeds growing on the school yard lawn
Where has everybody gone
The chairs are stacked
And the stage is dusty
And my strings are getting rusty...

This is the Sinner's Prayer or the Jesus Prayer sung in Latin. I have an acoustic version uploaded and this version a cappella. I've sung this in the key of F, one step lower than the acoustic version.

Comments on Andrew Russe's stuff
Yeah.Takes me back to high school.
Like. So clean.
Clean! Like the simplicity. The intensity.
Love the delicacy of it.
Don't know how I missed this one. I'll second Tess' comment, WOW.... "Shine" hits the mark!
I Really Like This One.The Acoustic Guitars Are So Crisp And Clean
You are a mad man! This is F'ing epic! I can here influences throughout , Floyd, The who to name a couple. Spot on everytime. Magnifico!

I wish i could sing like that...damn...those harmonies are bad ass...your music is much more than a song. It seems locked into almost a epic tale..
Beautiful cover!

What grabs the most about this is "things are bad, but I ain't dead yet.." Love the blues! I felt this one a lot.

Wow. That's mighty cool.
Awww.... this is fabulous! How could you have forgeoten about this!!!?
Cool sounds... But it's such a shame that it's only a working title!! I saw the notification earlier and thought "nice title"
Well that works nicely.
WOW, this is epic now. EPIC.
Love the looser feel. And some gorgeous guitars. It seems a little cymbal heavy in places at the moment?
A mighty cool set of songs.
This one really is a bit of a stunner.
And guitars? Have I mentioned guitars? Sprangy (Vox-like?) sounds - love it. And the vocals are superb.
Wow. Love it. Really "in your face" recordings... so clean sounding though. Loving those vocals.
Yep, like it.
Oh yeah, love it.
Oh wow, such cool sounds in those acoustics. Mighty fine song. Love how the recording's put together.
Aha! I see what you did there :)
I'm with witzelsucht on this, "Good as is". Classic Reg.
Cool stripped back version.
Mrs R has pointed out that she knows of at least two other Londons... and that it might not be obvious I mean London UK!
Like it. Love this: "stage is dusty / my strings are getting rusty". We had to look up corn hole, though, doesn't get played a lot in South London...
I started with the comment "allotropic"... but having listened to it, and let it wash over me, that seems a bit flippant now...
I love this version.
