Bitter-sweet, gripping, moving, reaching. Again, the right vocalist for the music, and the right music for the lyrics. You're painting masterpieces with sounds -- musical Mona Lisas.

This one struck and grabbed me like a classic Jim Morrison and the Doors number. Delicious! Very tasty, well done, and sweetly trippy! I'm especially digging this one! This one would be a big hit if I was one of the fat, balding cigar chompers who rule the music industry and make these decisions.

Tess's voice really rocks with these sounds -- gorgeous. You're really good at how you blend and pan and volume the various tracks into the final mix down, which is a science and an art. You've got a groovy feel for composing, for mixing, and for finding the right vocalists.

My first RPM cover of 2011. This one is "Like This" by The Missed Connections. I seem to have taken a darker turn with the song than Amelia did. It wasn't intentional, but it seems to be what I do when I cover her songs.

My take on Gumbo's Keep Your Eye On The Spot, one of many excellent tracks from his RPM2011 album 'Cat's Moustache'. It's something of a departure from the original, though I was trying to retain an element of the gospel so hopefully its soul…

"High Life" is a musical genre that originated in Ghana in the 1900s and spread to Sierra Leone, Nigeria and other West African countries by 1920. My friends from that part of the world consider this be the "go-to" rhythm for just about anything…

Oh. Meg…. What a fabulous way to round out the album.
The build and the slinky bassline on this tune are so great. And Alex kills the vocals yet again.
Meg's mellow vox fit the feel perfectly. A gorgeous, subtle track. Great songwriting.
Bitter-sweet, gripping, moving, reaching. Again, the right vocalist for the music, and the right music for the lyrics. You're painting masterpieces with sounds -- musical Mona Lisas.
I agree with the lovely Gene. Awesome altogether. Supergroup!
Fantastic songwriting, Brent... Music and production all solid. I feel like you should get some kind of award.

Love Meg's vox...reminds me of Christine McVie. Hope she records more.
I adore the part where Tess's voice breaks up oh-so slightly at about 3:40. Awesome.

I had a lot of fun playing with the effects on Alex's voice on this one. Another great song.
Beautiful.
Just lovely, and I really like the build.
Classic mid-late '60s sound, and the mix down is fabulous. I really enjoyed Alex's voice. GROOVY!
Tess lets her voice slink through this song. Just a fantastic vocal.
Another tremendous arrangement.
Tess's vocals are a fabulous compliment to a superb mix down of choice sounds -- great job!
Alex hit it out of the park on this one, taking a great song and making it even better.
I love the push-pull of this song.

nicely done.
i love this.
I'm in awe of your mixing skills, you should produce all of my albums please. I love the vibe on this one.
wow, this is different.
it's really about my anger management problems.
i actually had the volume turned pretty low to record this, it sounds big because of my huge nuts.
phat!
this song is perfect, but i'm going to cover it anyways.
NICE.
I'm a tool, I forgot all about this. Sounds GREAT!
what makes this song stand out even more is that it's about me. :(
this is perfect.
smokin something alright
i don't know if i ever told Tess that's her sampled vox ringing out through the whole tune. the funny thing was she took my song out of 5, and i put hers into 5. we're silly like that.
i played this in college. fun.
what a weird song, what was i thinking?
it's no joke.
i agree, it passes the honda stereo test.
somebody, and i don't care who, needs to admit, that this song, kicks some serious ass.
i just uploaded a new version of this song, i think i got the vocal mix right!!!!
