This is the basic theme for "weekend in new orleans", a documentary we're currently writing the soundtrack for (it'll be adapted with variations throughout the film). It's very quiet. (Video trailer coming shortly.)
Well, there was this Spectrasonics contest... and songs had to be submitted by June 30th... so we finally started working on this one on the evening of the 29th. Yeah. We procrastinate.

After an adventure in re-recording the entire song down a third, we came back to the original, tightened and tuned.
Always the self flagellating perfectionist, it still needs a bit more love. Always the pragmatist, it is probably done for now.

this song was created after hearing some downtempo, that was so minimalistic that we said, 'that'd be a great track, with some synth, vocals, bass, and beat variation' and so "syncronicity was born"
