ok, volume is fixed, and the title too. Maybe soon I will mix it better or perhaps just move on to better things. Thanks to those who gave excellent advice on previous version.
and the #2 version has been deleted (actually this is #2).
Inspired by the wide and rolling horizon, a world so large to be beyond imagination, a world unfettered by global news networks and men’s shrinking out looks.
I've been listening, and this is very dreamy roomy stuff (in general). Easy on the ear. I kept feeling this particular track was just on the verge of taking me somewhere I really want to go. Excellent.

Free Sue is a work for spoken choir, bowed piano in 18 notes per octave, mallet piano in 18 notes per equal, strummed piano in 18 notes per octave, tabla ensemble, snare drum, frame drum ensemble and various gongs. It is…
I wanted to play more directly with noise of various kinds so this piece focuses less on techniques and fancy plugins and more on selection & arrangement of sounds.
I spent many hours going through Reaktor ensembles I've downloaded searching…
I elected to pursue my theme for RPM 2010 even though, ultimately, I decided not to take part.
So I'm going at my own pace, not trying to produce "finished" works, or to be governed by anything except my experimental muse.
The theme I chose…
i drew a patch in maxmsp. are you familiar?
and then i messed around with it and used it in the same time, producing this in the end.
the melody is an adlib and is in fact a jam on the machine, after having gotten comfortable with it, while building it.
the patch is 2 oscs (added together) split into 32 delays and each delay has a feedback and the time of the delay is a multiple of the frequency of the oscillators. some parameters can be adjusted for each delay individually, and these are: feedback, time (multiplier of frequency), attack for osc env, decay for osc env, phaseshift frequency for feedback, phaseshift resonance/Q for feedback and multipliers for frequency on each oscillator. and then i overdrive the incoming signal a lot, making it very dirty.
Caveat emptor: I did absolutely none of the drumming in this piece.
ANOTHER WORLD PREMIER! FIRST RECORDING OF THIS PATTERN - EVER!
My friend Kokou "Alex" Yemey delighted me with another visit this evening. He played "Aju" - all 5 tracks…
Lullaby for Josephine - written by Laura Kepner-Adney
Now it’s time to go to sleep
Send my love to your dreams
Now it’s time to say goodnight
Kiss you once, hold you tight
Stars falling wherever you are
Send my love to the stars…
This one has been sitting around for a while but I feel it's the best or most interesting of my most recent posts. The inspiration came from listening to an old CD I have of a great band from the 90's. If anybody can name the band that I gained…
Comments on b3nny's stuff
Purely algorithmic or did you post massage? A very interesting piece nevertheless.
broken transmissions from some alternate dimension... very hypnotizing.
Jiggled my molecules fer damn sure. Good speakers and an understanding wife-
Interesting sounds!
like the fades
There's something warm about this despite it being a little disorienting to listen to and, yes, some nice squelchy sounds :)
Oh, this is certainly interesting, I really enjoyed it. Some lovely squelchy sounds in there.
Not really sure how you did this....but I like it!
tawak sawak,,,cool sound machine B3nny!
There's a slammin, heavy, fly-wheel-groove in there somewhere!
...and sleeps it's own android dream of sheep.
One of the more visual pieces I've heard as of late. Paints it's own movie. Writes it's own script.
I love it!
très mal indeed!
Meat grinder cubestick
Nice build...and good changes.
Triangular stare.
Sweet groove!
and possessed on our outer reaching limits...
Wild i like the dissonance on both structures.
