I wrote this song as a class project for "Quantum Reality and the Spiritual Quest" at the U of A. My basic idea behind it was to try and relay the wave/particle duality of light through musical terms.

A classical jam w/ a bass. There's a direct Rolling Stones quote in there, too.

I tried to write a country/bluegrass song over the simple G/C/D progression, but my aversion to country music shows through here since it ended up sounding more tropical than anything else.

Something different for me, a piano improv. Right hand only. One track each of delayed piano and strings recorded independently then combined.

The instrument tracks were all recorded before I even attempted to sing this song, which was not a good idea as I cannot sing very well in the key of E major. Thus, this song does not exactly feature a good vocal part. "This indie song is not…
