"Reminds me of all night sessions I used to do with a friend using a Wasp synthesizer, an acoustic and some tape echo units."-Mac McIntyre (Pzychotropic)
Now THAT I'd like to hear!
Reminds me of all night sessions I used to do with a friend using a Wasp synthesizer, an acoustic and some tape echo units. Recorded onto a reel to reel. ah nostalgia :)
Very romantic start. Sort of islands in the mist with a hint of sadness. Against the sea almost definitely. Whisps of light and shades of hades at the same time. Backwards guitar gives interesting texture, but can be swine to get right.

All first take improvisations. 8 tracks of madness for your enjoyment. Ear goggles will put you inside this piece. Not recommended for the faint of heart!
Recorded between 9AM - 7PM on the 26th of February.
Just an experiment from a while back using multiple delay units. I hated it initially, but after not hearing it for a few months I decided there were enough interesting moments to warrant sharing.

I loved it and just wanted to add some minor synth/vocal touches and make it even spacier. Thanks Kavin!
I figure if I keep trying long enough, I'll start channeling the great Django Reinhardt. Perhaps it's like squeezing blood from a stone but if I get a drop or two, I'm happy with that!

I just got Logic Pro X today. This track is the result of my efforts to learn how to use it. It's also the first time I've gotten the guitar and bass out of the closet since I recorded 8-Bit Time Machine.
Have to agree with Djork, prolly should'nt post this here. But I'd never heard them before, and when I did I went to amazon and bought their Let It Go ep. Great stuff!
She Will / Like the Rain
-
She came in like the rain
More than half a day past due
And I swear she looked the same
In the way dreams and memories never do
She passed me with a glancing smile
As I tried to look away
But her gaze could…

Very cool sounds mate.
What an amazing soundscape. Its like dance music for beatles and slugs and other small slimy things. I love that thick sound on the synths.
Love Your Sounds Man! The way you construct these pieces are Sublime!

Clearly things are very good in Valles Marineris...

Hey Joe: used various synth apps including Moog Filtatron and NLog synth, and some percussion sounds in Logic, and the usual BL guitar setup. Thanks!
Congratulations!
Nice!
Happy ending! You turned some people on to Fossil Collective and they sold some music!
