Very romantic start. Sort of islands in the mist with a hint of sadness. Against the sea almost definitely. Whisps of light and shades of hades at the same time. Backwards guitar gives interesting texture, but can be swine to get right.

Good use of sounds in here. Not at all like my usual techno babel. Start brought to mind something primevial and then a soundscape for a scifi horror train in a futuristic fairground ride.
Cheers
Some kind of rap-music. Made with a little bit tongue in cheek approach. I've filtered the rap artists voice so much that i'd rather leave his name unpublished.
The title came to me as I was listening to the track and was reminded of looking through [Savage's](http://alonetone.com/sistersavage) telescope at a starry sky and us being completely unable to figure out how to get it aligned :)
The title itself…
Basically, Its about being on the road with your band, and having a girl at home who doesn't want you to be in a band. And, just, that whole battle between the life you want, and the one she wants with you.

Recorded live during the last days of the Red Blood Club in Dallas, this Dennis Gonzalez Yells At Eels song features Stefan Gonzalez (drums), Aaron Gonzalez (contrabass), and Dennis Gonzalez (treated trumpet).
I'm really thinking of renaming the upcoming "Burning Wood... The Bonfire Sessions" album "Stealing Genius." I write something simple, put down some picking at the beginning, some acoustic guitar and some vocals, and send it off to people with…

Odd, but somehow interesting... :)
Wow, sounds like some kind of clockwork romance!

how many aps have you got on that sumbitch? I might have to get me one of these things. :P
I think we're vibrating on the same wavelength. Excellent experimentation man.
Clearly things are very good in Valles Marineris...

oh so good!!!! Cant believe this source of this!! Pro!
Very cool! The first couple of minutes are like some kind of tribal techno
Ooh, this is potent. Love that heavy rhythm underpinning the experimental ambience in the first couple of minutes.
Wow! It's kinda out there. Not sure what to make of this. Could be my closed mind. Cool in its own way. sixmilewide member
nice! can't wait to hear how you incorporate these ideas into your show :-)
This one has a nice flow to it. The flute adds another dimension to the sound, with the bass adding depth.
pretty neat man.
I gotta break out the DL4 and the looper again and figure out how you do some of this stuff. Great sounds man!
I've been looping this album for hours... One of my favourites!
Real nice one. Nice album cover too.
I'm digging that funky stuff with the octave pedal. Cool!
Nice! Sounds like it was mostly improvised on the spot

Sweet pickin' there.
wonderful!
My favorite sound, a properly delayed guitar.
Nice groove!
Lovely minimalism. Beauty.
fantastic sonic manipulation. Will have to look up the GB novel.
MTC, ebow yes with two different delays active.
Love these long sonic journeys
really like the extended gtr intro.
Been a fan of YAE for years. Imagine my surprise to see them here.
Great song but that slide gtr is kinda cheesy :)
Still, wow. Never heard of L. Freud, until now. thanks
thanks for that comment MTC..check out Doug Sparling's stuff, which is direct inspiration for this direction I took.

I like this dynamic approach you have to your ambient compositions, the scenes always changing.
