Just been listening to Mott The Hoople - made me think of this, so back for another listen. Every bit as good as I remembered...
And guess what??
My favourite button worked!! :-)
Oh, I LOVE this. It reminds me of all sorts of influences from my past - you've squeezed elements of nearly every act I like into it and ended up coming out with something that, to me, feels totally original.
Hats off to you, sir.
She hangs a little garden
so everyone can fit in her yard
when it's time to take tea

This one rewards repeated listening... (I especially love the instrumental break before the last verse). I'd like to put this tune on our community radio station, if you don't mind. (WUTZ radio, 88.3 in Summertown, TN) ~ Let me know if that's okay.
Another old one from back in the mid ninties.
Everyone that's ever written a song has written a song called Baby Blue. This is mine.
Lyrics
Baby Blue, Baby Blue
I love you, yes I do
I'll admit, I think about you
Baby I can't face…
I love how no-frills a lot of your compositions are. You just stab your fork into the proverbial pie. If that makes sense. But yeah, I like this one too.
Song about jealousy and weakness
Lyrics
He's here again, still hanging around
He's getting closer, [this] new friend that you've found
You tell me to cool it, don't over-react
I'm finding it hard, with the men you attract
I've seen…
One of Asimov's most famous stories, the music attempts to re-create the world that knows nothing but daylight. Unsettling, but bright sounds hint at the looming darkness that must come, ending with the crescending voices of fear and madness…
Act 1 Scene 3 - A Night on the Town, a glimpse into Fool's social life which is ... going round to his mates and getting stoned, going to the pub and the disco in an attempt to get a girl, which he manages to do in the last song.
gonna listen to the rest later, but this album is really, really, really cool. It's like a mixture of everything I like, and yet sounds like none of them.
but the girls is around

Now you're back in town and you claim that you followed the seam fingertips tight on the dream and slapped with some mission of peace but the girls is around with that hip modern remakin' sound yeah you stole it…
got a new ukelele still trying to tame it.
recorded 3 tracks of uke and one of vox on micro br using onboard mic, still trying to tame the onboard mic.

That one song from Passager that nobody liked! Death of a Salesman... from hell! Another day in the life of those 'Stopadvertising' folks.

Depeche Mode lite
I was going to hire Meatloaf for the ending but it turns out he will NOT work for pancakes... which is what I had heard.
This is one of the prime examples of (early on) being WAY more ambitious than what my ability…
Thanks very much Kavin, SS, Bethan. The drums... yeah, I needed to exorcise my Peter Gabriel obsession with some crushing, atmospheric percussion at least once.
The insecurity of criticism to the nowhere man ......... I didn't have time this evening to put any music to this so i've put an old instrumental (The Turkish Lout) to it.....hope you enjoy my little drama about that nowhere man....(Be Warned…
