This year's submission for the RPM Challenge (RPMchallenge.com). Yes, it's just one song this year, and yes, it's short. The simpler I try to make it, the more difficult it becomes. Just like relationships. On the plus side, it's one of the…
I thought that's what the other space was for. Ha! Well, okay, see the above space. The song itself doesn't have enough substance to it for two spaces worth of words. Come back next year. Better yet, check over my older work, specifically the Earth Highway album. That stuff was good, because I wasn't overthinking things back then.
Minor tweaks to the original upload: Better balancing of volume level, subtle changes to dynamics of the piano chords, and the addition of a very low-key counter-melody line on the third go-round of the main verse.
Im Hearing this from the perspective of the sattelite. Easing around the planet in my orbit, sending out my feeble signal, while the people below fall into utter chaos.
Best wishes
Scott Willson

Thanks for your recent listens :)
I enjoyed this playlist a lot. Some very nice compositions here. But I noticed your most recent upload is about 2 years old! Where's your new stuff? Get back to work! :)

Full moon, full of mystery
Full moon, shadows thru the trees
I can feel your spell, I’m beggin at you please
So long I been straight and true
No wrong has come into view
I can feel that dark side, all because of you
Way down…
Did the world really need a cheesy, spaghetti western version of this classic Eagles song? I'm not sure. Did I make one anyway? Yes. Yes, I did. By the way the painting is "Villa Diablo" by Downe Burns.

I found this while doing some clearing out. Its the only demo me and a friend Ben Price recorded when we were briefly looking to form a band in about 2005/2006. Listening back to it, strained vocals aside I kinda liked it so thought I should give…
This one was inspired by Wen's mom; and is therefore dedicated to all those musicians doing RPM, and all musicians who toil away at home to make their music despite what their friends & co-workers might think of their efforts.
This is my other favorite by another cultural landslide. It's just plain magical. I downloaded it and sometimes I just play it on a loop until Real Life tears me away.
I've been listening to this song by another cultural landslide for a month or so now, and I never to laugh out loud at the serious rambunctiousness of this song. (And the incongruous 50s sitcom imagery of the title certainly doesn't hurt!)
This is just another reason why the acl is my favorite artist on AloneTone ...

Nice tune!

Wow I love this song ... It *almost* rivals Fred & Ethyl Go Bowling in my esteem!
Love the fuzzy guitar in the background ... takes me back to Rubber Soul and early CSNY! Great chord structure and vocals too ...
Ha ha ha haaa!!! Great song!
Nice co-mingling voices!
Great exotic sound, very danceable! I can't believe only 34 AloneToners have listened to this in 4 months!
acl has a way of taking something that could have been ordinary and routine, and making it subtly brilliant. Another great job!
Nice relaxing sound -- what kind of guitar is used? Or is it synthesized?
