pioneer of junk songwriting. Who says you can't make songs out of heavily distorted, mismatched socks? Who says that the factory made crap they are training us all to write is any better than what chimps write.
If you give a bunch of chimps typewriters..EVENTUALLY one would write the beginning paragraph to one of Shakesspears works. lol I forget how many chimps and how many days/years it would take.

reminds me of the mountain goats. perhaps it's perfect the way it is. The guitar has flourish and restraint. The lyrics are smart and the vocals play with vulnerability, though perhaps expanding on the emotion shown by the singer could give the whole song more of the depth you are looking for by adding instruments.
