I wrote and recorded the original extremely low-fi tape at home in 1984 on a Tascam four-track.. Its flattering to have others recording their own versions. Its also interesting how different people hear the lyrics differently. For example the line sung here as "spotlight on a wake" was actually "spotlights on a wig" as i wrote it. Lol. Thanks for covering my greatest non-hit.
