I sent this fun little sing along off to Jim of MTC fame, and once again he has outdone himself... And I can't thank him and his wife (who appears covertly) enough…
So I'm back at Caffe Lena on Thursday night gearing up for my two songs and a band called "Driftwood" takes the stage (banjo, acoustic guitar, fiddle) and blows everyone away.
Kinda gets me thinking...

This is a combination of field recording, slicing up a guitar performance into loops, using loops and effects that came with Sonar X1 in Sonar's matrix view with a bit of editing of the matrix performance.

Well, I should give some background. Sometimes, for me, the difference in tunings are hard to discern - I don't have perfect or even good relative pitch discrimination. So I can get fooled. The Prelude for a Centaur tuned piano was actually composed…
One could use this to compare the changes I made to accommodate the change in tuning because this is the Centaur tuned piece but I changed the master tuning back to "standard" 12 equal.
Yeah I have like 500 of my tracks on my itunes :) I've been downloading all of your new stuff. Love it of course. This is at a rehearsal room in LA. I think Scutt is there too. That is Norda Mullen from the Moody Blues!! playing flute.
I'm hoping to jam with greggy tomorrow, I don't really have any recording gear though.

This is just a room recording...that is Norda Mullen playing flute from the MOODY BLUES!! We all played soft for the ultimate respect for having a world class flute player in our presence.
