Check out this new song written by my friend William Gittens featuring different Berklee artists, It's dedicated to the state of our world and the destruction in Japan. Take a minute to watch and send your thoughts to the troubles of this planet…

Gabriella has a bright future as a vocalist... pretty much gives the Marlyn Munroe version a run for its money.

Wow...great lyrics...and such an amazingly original take on melodies and harmonies. You have a new fan in me.

You have some BEAUTIFUL melody lines! Would love to hear a studio production of this...especially if you can contain the same energy level that you can feel on this recording (that's the trick, eh?).

Sitting around in my shop a couple of days ago with the Goodall and the Zoom H4N. First time I've really messed with using the internal mics on the H4N in multitrack mode

Scored for harp, flute, french horns, trombones, tuba. Still not quite as mixed as I'd like still unrealistic in places.

I first heard this song yesterday when I was listening to you reading "I bury my dead", and I immediately loved it. I'm sure I would have loved it without hearing the story too, but it sure adds a lot of meaning and depths to it. Great work, James!

Dark...moody...atmospheric and picturesque. Layers...depth. I'm liking this.

You are the master of minimalism! Great work. Just one note: The music ends somewhere around 2'50, but the length of the mp3 is 4'48. Wrong locator settings during the audio export?

You are a proof for my conviction that a good lyric is a requirement for a good song. All your lyrics are great IMO, and so are your songs.
