Did the world really need a cheesy, spaghetti western version of this classic Eagles song? I'm not sure. Did I make one anyway? Yes. Yes, I did. By the way the painting is "Villa Diablo" by Downe Burns.

I admit that I was pulled in by the title, but loved what I heard musically too. This has turned the Eagles classic into a mariachi-tinged epic! Roberto Rodrigues soundtrack material for sure. It builds beautifully with those mexican trumpets and backing vox. One of the best things I've heard for a long time. Absolutely loved it.
bloody kids eh?
my oldest asked if i would remove the dirty animal video from youtube because "it's embarrassing dad"!
i asked my girls to sing the chorus but they where too embarrassed lol.

My first RPM cover of 2011. This one is "Like This" by The Missed Connections. I seem to have taken a darker turn with the song than Amelia did. It wasn't intentional, but it seems to be what I do when I cover her songs.
This piece grew out of a project in my digital music class at Oasis Charter Middle School (Cape Coral, FL) back in Fall 2006. I recorded some environmental sounds at night in the Four Mile Cove nature preserve in Cape Coral (the only bit of natural…
Hello Erik -
I have been enjoying the soundscapes you created with your students. I am going to do a soundscape project with some students at Pros Arts Studio in Chicago. What sound recording equipment and computer programs did you use to create the pieces?
Meaghan
I second Hedestad's comment. This could make great video-game or internet-lobby music. (Leaning towards video game, unless it was a bad-ass lobby.) I like! :)
An improv in a found tuning. E and A strings tuned WAY down so they're slapping the neck:

@boy named bri - the interesting thing is I never played Metroid. In any of its incarnations.
PS. Some of the sounds make me think of the old Metroid. I always liked the music for that game.

Wow! Very cool!
This is a fun tune. :) Sounds similar to some of the EBM artists I enjoy, sans-vocals.
Thank you so much everyone for your comments! :)
