Recorded way back (early '80s?) on open reel tape. The mumbly voices are from whatever was recorded on there before, as it was a former CBC Radio tape. The "instrument" is one of those little slicers for hard-boiled eggs. Submitted to Sound-In…
This piece was composed by [Ali Kilpatrick](http://foreshadows.net/musicians/alikilpatrick) and is track 19 of the multimedia anthology, Foreshadows: The Ghosts of Zero. This music inspired a story of the same name, written by [Ruth Lampi &…

Sometimes I wonder : Can we go on like this?
Sometimes I wonder what it is that we miss
I'm getting bored with the way things go
We have to…
This album sounds like what would have happened if Butch Vig had gotten Dave Grohl to work with Peter Murphy and the cure. Fantastic vocals with edge and dark ambience.
V1 Weeds are growing higher
The buildings unkempt
The windows are al broken
The signals are bent
V2 Its shadow of its heyday
Slowly dying alone
It has many stories to tell
And most are now unknown
C Once oh yes once
It all happened…
What a nice, laid back sound and a pretty melody. The subtle little slide/dobro touches were just perfect. That uke sounded like a mandolin (or maybe it was) and provided a really solid rhythm. Loved the whole vibe. Applause.
In the early 70s I lived near Haight Ashbury, played music and was deeply involved in that scene. Wrote this song a few years later about those days. Recorded in one take at Rosewood studios..not bragging on the one take, we booked a full day…
Now a decade old, I thought I would revisit this mix again. I have done this a few times as I continue to learn the craft. I thought it would be a good exercise to undertake as a start thinking about writing again for the next record.

That's great Kavin! Thanks for putting us together. Texture on what James is doing is haunting through, whole piece is a ritual!
Great sound quality coming from my small Android phone.. Can't tell that is from an 80's tape..
Beautiful song, great imagery. The view from your window is a LOT better than mine.
One of the most powerful tracks I have ever experienced. Incredible!
