Felt the need to go back to something more sound driven. I've been learning a lot of new Jazz chords and wondered what they might sound like as pads. I ended up creating a device chain in Ableton Live featuring Alchemy, Omnisphere, and Absynth…

This is the first cover song I've ever really recorded in my 15 years of playing and recording. The guitar and voice are each full continuous takes, I didn't want to do comping (copy and pasting), though the vocal harmony parts were done in…

Absolutely perfect.

After an adventure in re-recording the entire song down a third, we came back to the original, tightened and tuned. Always the self flagellating perfectionist, it still needs a bit more love. Always the pragmatist, it is probably done for now.

such a great dense guitar tone, sounds like an electric 12 string.

Sudara, you are really a fantastic musician. You have a solid production vision, i wish i could get my hands on a real album with the final and superb mix of of this and other great songs.

I read about the Duodene in Doty's book and wanted to try it. I took the opportunity of Margo's scala formatted duodene on the nonoctave forum to toss it into fractal tune smithy and improvise with the tuning. I hope you don't find this too…
