awesome song! To answer you question on metal screaming -- it's more of a vocal trick than anything. Try constricting your throat slightly to duplicate the noise. It's more about getting the tone you want than the volume (like I said, it's a trick - you use the microphone for volume). It's forceful and tiring but little air actually moves to make the sound... meaning you can carry the scream for an impressingly long period of time if you want. Hopefully that helps... it's much easier to learn when you can actually witness someone doing it in front of you... so to speak.
