Not terribly odd except for how I did it with Fretless gutiar. I recently bought a used Fender Squier for $60, pulled the frets with pliers, filled the cuts with plastic wood, sanded, and jammed. Took about 2 hours to make the guitar fretless…

Sounds so lonely and melancholy. Truly lovely, beautifully played and I like the different melodies in there, very pretty.

Thanks to Colin for writing, performing and producing this song, and for letting me mod it. I think it's a great tune, benefits from an uptempoing. This is Hot Wheels Spaulding reimagining Colin's song 'The View'

A deceptively forceful song dealing with the death of my sister.

A masterpiece. I can relate to this one. My sister was killed by a drunk driver. It was a weird night. Everything just seemed kind of hazey and surreal. We were at a party in bull run mountains va. In retrospect...kinda like I knew something was wrong. Everything got hectic, I heard someone saying, "Something happened to Cheryl." Time was moving slower. Motion changed. I got in a car with someone..it was packed full...to go see what happened. My brother yanked me out of the car. I'm glad he did. She was hit in the head by a mirror on a truck. The truck was going down a big mountain hill. He was going pretty fast. She died 72 days later with a blood clot in her lung. The guy didn't even fng go to jail. He was seen drinking at a bar shortly after he hit her.

As the song says, this is a song I wrote for the RPM Challenge. I simply took my actual experience beginning at 12 midnight on February 1st, and a couple or three hours later I had my first song. The player takes away the intensity of this track…

Summer Grass- I didn’t originally intend for this to be the title track, but since most, though not all, of the songs on this album sound like summer to me, I decided, why not? The guitar even sounds humid and warm, but in that nice July way…

Really lovely. I feel like the musical equivalent of a caveman with a tuned stick when I hear real musicians like you perform!

This is a love song, but it is NOT workplace safe. Unless you work at a strip club or adult "novelties" shop, headphones are highly recommended.

A tune composed late in 2009, i've released it as well as other two tracks and some photos from a friend of mine as a micro-ep recently for free! Enjoy! This is using a tuning I borrowed from The Smashing Pumpkins, which goes E-A-D-G#-B-E. Not…

Thanks you all for the listen, Im glad you enjoyed it! Getting some great feedback and its very exciting! @kirklynch: It isnt much of a change out of standard, as I said, but i found this little shift on the G -> G# really does add a nice accent. I'll post some other songs where I use this tuning so you can all see some other adjustments this tuning makes!

Thanks all for listening, and a warm welcome! @norm: Reefwalker invited me not too long ago, but i've been having a tough time getting things together IRL the past month or so. SInce I finally packaged some material for 'mass' release. How could I forget this one, though? Great work as always Norm, and pleasure to join the crew here too ! :D
