Thanks so much for all your kind words on this.
Richard-This was actually the first MIDI tune I did back in 2009. It was really kind of a test. I downloaded Cellofan and plugged it into my sequencer (Samplitude 2008) and was amazed at how it sounded. After a bit of jamming, my fingers just seemed to go to the right place for that melody and I built the rest of the tune around it.
Robert-It's funny you should mention that you actually like when the percussion comes in. Most people say "Hey, You really had me almost asleep there, then the drums woke me up"! Not consistent! What's wrong with that! Contrast is great! Franz Schubert used contrast in the second movement of his 8th (Unfinished) symphony. It starts out so sweet and serene, but changes to a dark and intense feel real quick. Glad at least somebody agrees with me.

David Niven decided to ask her one rainy afternoon: "Why did you give up the movies?"
She considered her answer so carefully that he wondered if she had decided to ignore his personal question.
At long last, almost as if to herself, she…

Sorry for your loss. Very touching story behind this one. Could you type out the lyrics? If you want me to add stings, it will cost ya a pint at your pub. Ofcourse you will have to pay for the plane ticket too. grin. I'm kidding, I'm very honored that you asked me to add strings to this.
I'm glad you liked what I added to Little Old Man. phew.. hehe. By the way it's very nive to meet you.

Another wacky production from the stretchy, bouncy, and elastic world of Rubber. Special thanks to Mark (Launched) for writing this one for us.
We had a whole bunch of fun with this song and you will too.

First done by Dock Boggs back in the 20s, it's a great piece of melancholy parafunalia. Eerie to think it's a suicide note and reassuring to know he was still a tough old bird 40 years later.
