Did the guitar tracks first, followed by bass, then drums and vocals last. I wrote this song in a bookstore, after I came home and recorded it, I realized I made the song too short for all the lyrics.
Im talking, she's texting
Im givin…
every time you show yourself
i'll let your image float away
I'll let your image float away
you have no power
you have no power
you have no power over me
At the 23rd hour we consider whether we've made the right decisions.
Written and recorded less the 48 hours before the end of the RPM challenge deadline. I wonder why.
Is this our 23rd hour
Sixty minutes to go
Are we counting the seconds…
every time you show yourself
i'll let your image float away
I'll let your image float away
you have no power
you have no power
you have no power over me
again after the first 10 seconds a fav!!! magical,, the notes flow me over like a ??
waterfall,, swift brook,,, breeze through the palms?? well well done, there's really no comment i can make that can say how wonderful this piece is,,, acoustical magic
Peter, Ive listened to almost all of your posts now, they are all very good. This is one of my favs. Intelligent lyrics with stunning vocals and piano - totally pro mix. Nothings missing.
Great vibe to all of your tracks. Brian Wilson meets John Lennon

after the first 10 seconds this became a favorite!! when you say snowed in do you mean literally? if so i hope you get more snow days... the timing and cord structure are effervescent wow great work
This sounds really pretty. I'm going to have to listen to this when the kids aren't in the next room to fully appreciate the instrumentation. Your voice reminds me a little bit of Isobel Campbell.
live @ Dunn Bros. in Keller, Tx. 1/29/10
Took me awhile to get my legs here, as evidenced by the sloppy playing. The bulk of this is the tune "Blue Hour".

Whoa... The production on this nails Jeff Lynne's style around the time of Roy Orbison's Mystery Girl. Cool!

That's cool. Who played sax?
Another nice job! Your voice fits well with the accoustic guitar. And the backing vocals add icing to the cake. ER
Nice harmonies! My blues have just been chased away. ER
Singing along with you on this. I feel better already. ER
