this is the music that probably played in my head when I was a child as I dared to stare into the SUN for as long as I could before blinking. Then, I'd blink, close my eyes and stare at the pink wall of skin set aglow, letting my mind wander up into the firmament.
Excellent!!!
Straight ahead stone city electric blues for an old friend who used to spend hours spinning BB King and Mike Bloomfield records for me. Recorded back sometime at the end of 2006 on old analog equipment
Welcome to your first lesson in post-apocalyptic ballroom dancing for Martians and Manhunters alike. The track is not really cha-cha, but more like futurejazz, or 1960s mood music done by robots and mutants. 1-2-cha cha cha!
First draft in 2006…
I'm not in any of those categories, but this is truly lovely. The music is soothing, yes, but also really comforting in a "everything's much better than you think" kind of way. Almost new agey, especially around 4.15. Love it!
I was thinking about Haiti...
i don't know what to say
i don't know how to feel
when i'm way over here
and things are going well
my house is standing still
my friends are still alive
the smell of spring is in the air
and i just can't connect…

This is an updated vocal of the song I wrote during FAWM/RPM.
I *had* thought that this was an improvement but when I listened to it later that night, it ended up just sounding like a *chorus* of flat-ness.
From RPM 2010. It's entirely analog synthesizer, drum machine, and my voice. Effects, too, of course. It's pretty repetitive, but I find it kinda catchy.

Sister Savage's comment is right on the $$$. This is excellent stuff.
Lennon filter? Is that a processed effect you used on the vocals or did you record the vocals in Lennon style? Great song by the way Vegetable Man!!!
I really dig your guitar tone Rob Mills. This should be a PSA.
Frisky.
oooo good album but I have a weakness for instrumentals like this.

Excellent production. This is a great song.
I have to set some time aside to really listen to your peaceful, emotive (accomplished) sounds.
Piper at the Gates of Dawn... I must get a copy of that Pink Floyd album if for nothing else at least for a high dose of inspiration.
