There's something about my speakers that love your tracks! It must be a mixture of the production, ambiance, percussion (when applicable), mic position and mostly the performance! Great work!
I came up with the main bass riff on my electric bass, but after recording it I was unhappy with the tone, so I used a sampled upright bass. On top of that is a layer of doodling "lead guitar" (played on my bass), a dreamy semi-harsh organ sound…
I mostly wanted to make music with a funky clav line I'd come up with, so this is it. For the voiceover, I unabashedly used an awesome monologue by Ken Nordine.
Just a basic dance track because its just fun to bounce around sometimes. Also another excuse to use a growly bass sound... a "60 Hz Hum Bass" soundfont I had clearly neglected for too long.
Where's all this sappy music coming from? The Olympics were on. I must have been watching too much figure skating or something.
Unmastered track from my 2010 RPM Challenge submission.
MMI, I just listened to your album straight through and I'm impressed! I was transported, not questioning, just floating through the ice caves shimmering.
Admital - the main guitar part for this was written and recorded for last RPM (shock horror!)but I had to give up on it when the file corrupted. Managed to salvage the audio though so rebuilt it around that. This year I managed to mix down just…
Hey Alex. I'm commenting on this track, as cursed as it may be, because its the one I remember the most from my full listen yesterday. It's a very enjoyable album you put together with a wide range of great singing. It inspired me to break out the acoustic guitar. Regards!

From RPM 2010. It's entirely analog synthesizer, drum machine, and my voice. Effects, too, of course. It's pretty repetitive, but I find it kinda catchy.

Love the opening riff.
This is kind of like updated Ken Nordine, only more non-sequitorial.
S'lovely. Painfully so.
Am halfway through your album. It's beautiful. It's like a massage. You're a great friend to me, and a superb sonic masseuse.
This is like a frisky alien photoshoot. One of *those* photoshoots.

I didn't notice the video - very cool, bro! Inspiration to work on the track you sent me. It's in your blood, man!
That growling bass really is nice. *Dare I ask, what did you use to make it?.* The mix is satisfyingly solid and clean. ***head bobbing happily*** :)
Great guitar!
***Love it! 'Boned By A Vampire'. Great stuff, keep it coming.. :)***
