From today's one hour session: acoustic guitar, fretless electric bass, tabla, tambourine, and the synthesque sound is the electric guitar played with a violin bow

A better mix. I pumped up the trumpet, bass and guitar. It was just annoyingly low. Thanks again to Benny for the trumpet parts.

A man's heart was once broken, but now, with love, it can finally be mended. Lyrics: (Verse 1) I've got a feeling that you want me Your emotions are aglow I must find out I've got to know I never thought I could love again It's been so long…

Created this loop at a gig and saved it to the looper. When I got home, dumped it to Logic and added some ebow. The name is a character from a book I'm reading "The Last Hawk" by Catherine Asaro.

You might want to dig out a copy of the Porcupine Tree song "Voyage 34" - similar concept

White Light was written in June along with 10 other "Off the cuff" tunes. Just before the great flood in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Our house was flooded and slowly being rebuilt. This is 4th of the 10 to be recorded.

Summer Sadness indeed! But bittersweet sadness is best when captured in a smooth tune like this! I loved instrument-switching when I was in a band. cheers.
