ooh, love the fun chord bounces here, very enjoyable... sort of unclassifiable, as if F. Liszt did ragtime boogie. The recording sounds a little "dark" or muffled, may need to boost the treble to get more sparkle on the high keys. Nice piece here!

It's a rainy day on planet Texas, and I've been listening to A-tone on the BIG stereo. This playlist fit the bill nicely!

Had to click play on this because of the title. Glad I did. A delightfully convoluted track.

I name each instrument track that I lay down when creating a song. Sometimes it's simple, like "Bass" or "Drum Kit," but sometimes I get creative. "Breath of Men" was the name of one of the synth tracks on this song, and I ended up naming the…

One from a year ago or so. Never was happy with the recording quality, but never got around to re recording it. My attempt at a kind of late 70's Phil Keaggy thing

I made a song out of the fable "The Boy and the Schoolmaster" by Jean De La Fontaine, that french writer from the 17th century. And here's the story: " A boy, that frolicked on the banks of Seine, Fell in, and would have found a watery grave…

Rough sketch of a proposed dreamy 12 string piece that I couldn't pull off on the 12 string so did this quick electric version with vocal pads. Not sure of the recording quality- sounds OK in my cans and kinda crappy on my monitors. Recorded march…

An RPM 2009 song. Well, this was a personal story for me that came about when your past intersects (briefly) with the present. Lyrics: 20 years running through time and I remember all the magic lines that in our younger days we drew…

At the end of 2003, I was recording a bunch of covers in my basement in Portland, Oregon. This was the only original recording from that time. I was pretty bummed out at the time...

Lovely gentle emotive vocal. Very nice in a melancholy kind of way.
