"There Are More Important Things in Life Than Living"
dedicated to Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick
There are pleasures we shall never meet again
as we drop our lovers…
The end of this is.. the best part .. that part with out drums just is what I like... Things like that as a whole song would be neat. Anyway people usually like drums.. I like sound effects..
Written for the April 2020 RPM mini-challenge. I hoped for an EP and ended up with a single song. The song is largely recorded on a T25 mic I built for Brian of A Beautiful Scene as a means to test the mic. It's pretty solid if you ask me…
This song is great, I didn't understand it at first but after a listen through some of your songs and reading a couple of forums on RPM this is one of the most fantastic things I have heard.
Steve developed this beautiful track with his ukulele and I added some lyrics to make a "positive message" song for the times we are in.... Hope it makes you smile too...
It Won’t Be Like This Forever
Sitting here on my front steps

Thanks, Bill, but as you've probably noticed, with my style of playing a perfect - or eve proper - embouchure is not all that critical. Either that or my horn is very forgiving. Since I'm not trying to play particular notes or melodies, anything that doesn't quite work as intended merely becomes part of the piece in a different way.

Beauty and artistic taste is clear to everyone and eternal, although it does not save the world.

A Late Walk
Robert Frost
When I go up through the mowing field,
The headless aftermath,
Smooth-laid like thatch with the heavy dew…
My wife said this sounded like a level of a video game where you are racing down endless pews of a church. You know, a pew level.
Another in the slow motion bach series, this time paired with the tart frenetic flavor of 90s breaks…
Dear Sudara,
Thank you for your tireless work enabling musicians throughout the world share music in a safe environment. Forget Soundcloud, this is my favourite home, and I am forever grateful. Tiggy Acworth
nice.. don't lose that embouchure, I have lost mine. I am not willing to put the time in again to get it back.. since I have had a trombone again..--- you know it is not that I can't play the trombone .. it is that the sound is not like that of someone playing with an.. embouchure -- nice whisper like effects toward the end..
Man, you're on a roll... Loved it. Steak and Texas Blues... I'm there. And I thought Kansas was just where Rainbow came from... or was was it Dorothy... or... or...

Makes me want to have a dance or two before I sit down for my steak. Fun!!! “She’s lean with just the right amount of fat”.....best lyrics ever
You’re lyrics hit the nail dead on. Great work!
Now I’m hungry. You have some nice licks here.
Liking the driving feel in the synth and the whole piratical tension (or is that just me?)
Utterly stunning..! Beauty and art won't save the world but they'll make it a better place while we destroy it.
