Oh light, old light ahead
Rain down, rain down on me
There I was just walking the park
It was just a little bit before dark
There I saw you with that shit eating grin,
It was you, living in our old house again
(sigh) ...so I’m running, and you…

The light, the time
It’s in my mind,
Oh fine,
Won’t be polite

This is my big production number from my 2009 RPM Challenge album "Relative Polyphonic Mutiny" that features Philly rapper Marvelous. It's a rockin uptempo affair that has a beat you can dance to.
Very nice haunting music, and SS's singing really catches hold of emotion here. I was hoping for a little more change between main theme and chorus, the chords and drum rhythms were a bit even throughout. Great guitar work.
This song by Eric Bogle is updated for all those who've
lost sons and daughters in Iraq and other places in this war
against terror. Do me a favour and send it to George W.
you are so far back in the member list i can imagine that there were very few members. if you would like more exposure i strongly and heartfeltly , because i like your stuff, suggest you repost to get on the topo of the page

There was a director who was so happy to show off his lead singer to the playwrite... she was young and beautiful and a talented singer... when he finally got to present her to the playwrite... the playwrite nodded, and smiled.. he told the director…
nice to see and hear you over here. .........and if i die before i wake. i used to say it before bed every night as a kid. i was sort of mad e to say it but it used to really scare me. that and TB. this song brought that all up as a forgotten memory. ialso used to be so upset that my sundaty techer would tell me that my father in heaven was first in line before my real father. i couldnt comprehend that and i felt so insecure. i have a much different perspective. i might start to think about my four year old saying a prayer before bed .
This is from our album, "When I Was Your Age," recorded entirely in the month of February for our third year participating in the RPM Challenge. "When I Was Your Age" is a collection of 13 songs looking back at when we were kids.

Dreamy, pretty, melancholy. Very cool.
Love that riff!
Dan, glad you like it, I enjoyed doing it. I'm going to confess that the slight changes to lyrics are where I couldn't work out what you'd sung!
I really like this one

Great harmonies and melody lines. I really like the seriousness of the music and the opposite with the lyrics. Very hard to pull off well, and you do.
