Lyrics: I'm not sleeping I'm staring at the ceiling My mind's a thousand miles away I'm finding faces in the shapes of plaster that was scraped on the ceiling Killing time is not so bad but when you're trapped inside your head…

Love this track from start to end. I really like the drums/ambient sounds/bass/ at around 3:50. A very nice 'series of demos;' I look forward to hearing more.

that is not a sample you hear in the background, it is the dryer going. leave it in? okay, sure i'll leave it in. it's these artistic decisions we're all forced to make.

Is the rhythm coming from the Clothes Dryer? is has an interesting regular vs. intermittent feel to it.

Rough sketch of a proposed dreamy 12 string piece that I couldn't pull off on the 12 string so did this quick electric version with vocal pads. Not sure of the recording quality- sounds OK in my cans and kinda crappy on my monitors. Recorded march…

it is dreamy and steamy. the hiss gives images of cicadas. it is a beautifully complex time signature. skillfully played music. 0x0

Imagine a Mexican quintette playing a fast waltz. There are 3 melodies played in 3/4 time, in a sort of non-standard ABCABC format. The title is a photographic/geographic/melodic play on words. There is a merging of European waltz and Mexican…

There are too many amazing quotes from this film to not sample them SOMEWHERE in my album. Time after time, the 'yo-yo master' line got me laughing, so I thought I'd pay homage to it.

This is going to sounds really dumb, but your music manages to be gentle and aggressive at the same time. ::wow::

One of my darker tracks. This tracks epitomises how RPM felt for me; A progressive struggle where I just got my head down and got stuck in with the thing. In a phrase, this track says to me "Just fucking get on with it."

hey cdb, thanks for listening and for your positive comments. I like the feel of what you've got coming here. It's raw, real. I dig that. Keep rocking forward. Anthony

I'd be lying if I said this entire track wasn't sparked by the opening audio clip. It really made me think about the ways some people create their own enjoyment. Cool.

Pain is inspired by my bout with severe nerve damage in my lower back. As anyone who has ever had a good hurt can tell you, it gives you an internal feeling of chaos that often comes and goes in waves and spikes. The music follows this pattern…

Cool slow theme, I can hear you spitting the lyrics through clenched teeth... the chaos-chorus does what you wanted, turns up the adrenaline... final spoken part is chilling. Hate to imagine what this has done to your life and blacksmith practice, ugh! Good musical therapy!

This one was inspired by Wen's mom; and is therefore dedicated to all those musicians doing RPM, and all musicians who toil away at home to make their music despite what their friends & co-workers might think of their efforts.
