Calypso was sort of a concept name of the song when I started writing it and I never found a better name so Calypso it is.
The song starts as a plain pop melody. Then takes turns around a small corner with a B section. And then the whole thing…
Inspired by a "flash of gratitude", to the Universe, God or whatever..sitting in the warm summer heat watching my sweetie tend her plants, puffy clouds filling the sky and surrendering to the momentary bliss.
