#RPM Challenge 2013#
Oh it caught me by surprise
I Looked into your pretty eyes
Nothing more than a simple kiss
And a moment like this
We don’t need no fancy cars
Diamond Rings that shine like stars
You never really asked for more
Than moments…

Here is what Buck said he added:
"So I used the tremolophone (vibes) and tuba sounds in Garageband and played them on the keyboard."
"Hey Motorman" was written for the 100 year celebration of the Ariel Lift Bridge.
The bridge was originally built in 1907 with a gondola that went from side to side carrying passengers and vehicles. It was later replaced with a lift system.
One of my other hobbies is watching wildlife in the area. I'm the happiest with a pair of binoculars around my neck and my hiking boots laced up.

I would love to see one of those owls in the wild. Unfortunately, I'd have to go out where they are, and when it comes to winter I'm a great indoorsman ! My Mom would have loved this. She was an avid bird watcher and feeder. I learned a lot from my childhood excursions tagging along in the woods and fields.

As an old forester, wildlife man...I'd venture a guess this is a pretty young "flyer." Great sscenes, notice old insulator on wire near shed...and the banjo music is wonderful...just wonderful...best to the two of you...v.g.

I went out creeping on a Halloween night
Looking for the scream of my life
Not a single soul was sleeping every spook was insight
Even half-dead were alive
There's a guilty moon hanging in the gallows…

I just might be hiding behind your bedroom door
you might find me lying under your bed, down on the floor
You swear you hear the creekin' coming up the stairs
you got your eye on the peep-hole and nobody's there…
Song by Nick Plagakis
Lyrics:
I don’t care for love and happiness
I got myself a yacht and a mansion
I don’t believe in God and religion
I got myself sixty four billion
Greed, greed, greed is what I need
Greed, greed, greed is what…
This one is still in progress, Jon the guitarist sent me a riff which i stuck together to get a kinda structure...so this is take 1....
I'm gonna kill a Mockingbird
That mockingbird mocks me with your name
I'm still not over you and it's causing…
Volcano was one of the first tracks that the Proods uploaded to Alonetone, it was fun because it features the Prood gals who aren't always available to jam.
My nephew Spencer or (SZC) as he goes by wrote this song entirely as we were talking about the sad news of Robin Williams passing in a conversation last year and how it felt. So he asked me to do the vocals and guitar.. He will be joining alonetone…
This is a beautiful emotional song telling the sad story of the singer. It describes the emotions of the singer in a precise way.

Cool! Was this at Cleary Lake or Murphy-Hanrehan? And aren't snow owls nocturnal? The banjo playing is OK, too.
Snowy nostalgia for my am coffee time on alonetone The owlet is dressed for Minnisota

Interesting. Well written with great supporting instrumentation.
This hit the spot this morning!
Interesting feel to this
LOTS OF ENERGY !!! Nice guitar licks and the vocal energy is REG all the way!
I like that line *"Forget about the laundry on the floor"*.
I like how this ebbs and flows. I think I'm living the theme of this song. Who knew there was more to life than hanging around drinking beer.
Now . . . That's the stuff we're looking for!
Surrealistic and fun!
Nice cooperative effort between you and Soencer! Beautiful
Very pretty song with anguish just below the surface.
I love that Tuba and Temolophone! Thanks Buck!
Great chord progression supporting a solid lyrical story. Nice Ukulele. I like the echo on the vocal.
