Hey Colleen, you asked "Who did the scary cries????"
There are two theories:
1. It's Rita calling me for dinner.
2. It's my world famous Elk Rut recordings that I usually play every Halloween.

I think these challenges are so expanding ,I sat back and followed the the progression carefully.
Then to hear what you did with this unusual thread ,the lyrics made it all seem so natural.
I am impressed. More please

I wrote this song earlier this week, and reached out to the wonderful Greg Connor and SL Krell here to help me with the lead, rhythm and bass guitars to give it a nice country love song feel. They killed it!!!!!! Thanks to them both for making…
I uploaded this tune several years ago. The other day I found the track was truncated, and when I tried to replace it, that didn't work. Well, anyway, since then I've redone all the vocals and remixed & remastered the tune, so I just blew away…
I got a message from *SLKrell* to stop and take a listen to this.
Well Done!
This is one of those old familiar songs that I have never heard before. It just feels like an old friend, even though it's the first time I've heard it.
Now i'm gonna get out there and get me some sun......
Summertime In The Sunshine
lets make hay while the sun shines
lets get out there today
it’s Summer time so lets get out there and play
summer time in the sunshine

This one is dedicated to my dear friend John. Thanks for changing my life for the better....
Also a big thanks to our own Greg Connor who helped me get the chords for my own uke accompaniment, and who kindly played the beautiful guitars…
This is a meditative piece for solo flute. It is extremely calming and peaceful. It was originally created as an experiment to see if I could create a high quality piece of music using only basic equipment and free software. It worked!

This is my first collaboration with the talented SLKrell! He had a reggae song called "Rancho Raggae" posted a couple of weeks ago in need of a lyric, so I asked If I could write some for it, and poof whala!! Here it is! Thanks Slkrell for the…
I wanted to get this happy little tune out before I unleash a new experimental heavy psych rock project.
I needed a break from the distortion :) So I decided cheesy horns and woodwinds are always fun.
If you want to use it, feel free.

I like the earthy quality of this....
Second time through, I'm noticing the great lyrics and the two part harmony even more.
I like the acoustic version a lot, but this begs for an electric guitar set on fire. Maybe you need two versions of this song.
Comments on Greg Connor's stuff
I'm so glad you put this playlist together! What a great story.... Love that last line! Hilarious...

Was there a minor chord in there, I may have effected you, drew you closer to the dark side
Now .... can this be classed as a song about Rita ?? or is it about your car ??? As always Greg .... good stuff.
Cool! really dig the vibe here, good playing and singing! Always love songs about cars and driving :-) keep on cruising ! KC
Cool song, i dig the harmonica and all the instruments sound fine together. I thought it would be about a guitar when i clicked though :)

Ahhh Summer . . . Go get it while you can!
This is beautiful
I can picture those big things ambling along to the music.
This gets the rebel (or what's left of it) in me stirring.
Good Rebel Anthem
I love the Ukulele and the heartfelt lyrics. Isn't it fun when things work out for the better?
Sounds like a fun and successful experiment.
Calming and tranquil
