I wrote this song 5 years ago and have recorded a new version of it every year since (I think). This version features a Baritone 8 String guitar and Mandolin.
Had a bad back just of late (working to hard) so i put it in a song,and my favorite painkiller is ? you guessed it WHISKY.

This is an old 19h century sea shanty (or chanty) arranged around clawhammer-style banjo, with a bit of Irish whistle, faux bodhrán, and a goofy pseudo-accent to Irish it up a little. Just in time for St. Paddy's Day.

Here's the Who classic Regged a little.....I was practising this at full volume then realised the window was open so a bit of an impromptu concert going on in the street which would have sounded ok for the main but i'm not so sure the backing…
When I was about 5 years old, my grandmother gave me a set of those old 78 rpm "records" titled "Songs Many Lands". For some reason this song was always my favorite... to the point I don't even remember anymore what other songs were in that collection…
