All VSTi's. I created this as an intro to an album I never got around to finishing. I was on a New Age type kick but this piece was the only one I really felt strongly about.
One of my first experiments with DADGAD tuning. I was hoping to get a dark, droning sound. I lived in Missouri for a lot of years and this sounds like what it feels like to be out in the sticks there.

Done by the Blind Boys of Alabama and Johnny Cash but NEVER like this. The base for this song was constructed from home made samples, including the sound of a 9mm Sig Sauer being fired. Bass was my first attempt at using a synth (Massive).

My apologies to Ray Willie Hubbard. This sounds nothing like his great version of this. All instruments played by me, in studio.
This was before I discovered the usefulness of a pop filter.

Not a song I know so You've it your own in my book. I quite often use a synth bass on my stuff it always seems cleaner to me and this sounds just fine.
This is a good song and sunged by Ayla during her music time. It is a song, you want to listen during the stressed time.
Message Ayla Stokes at my website<> to share it to other media.
Volcano was one of the first tracks that the Proods uploaded to Alonetone, it was fun because it features the Prood gals who aren't always available to jam.
Great composition! I must admit that when it first started I thought I was hearing my OWN song

but soon realized they were different. Obviously I like your style...it sounds familiar! :)
This is a beautiful and emotional song. It describes the reality of the singer and his life. It explains the feelings and emotions of singer.

Composed this around 2 years prior about splitting far from somebody you're infatuated with who doesn't know how to love at all not to mention love you back the same way and exploits the actuality you'd do anything for them.
Here is a latest genre ready to rejoice you with its melodious tone that will give a sensational effect on your ears. It has a very futuristic tone and the singer has got a very tuneful voice.
New song from GHOST OF JOHN MURPHY
from the POP GOES THE GHOST album
WHEN LAYLA COMES OVER
When Layla comes over everything stops
When Layla comes over I put on my socks
I put on my shoes. I put on my shirt.
When Layla comes over…
Here's the second one we did at the Winterland Studios. You'll hear Greg Connor on guitar and vocals, Colin W. on bass and vocals and Randy C. on piano. This was a blast! I think this is definitely the best version yet of this song.
Comments on Christopher Careaga's stuff

Good, solid production. Great mixing!
Digging this. Its giving me flashbacks of the late 60's movement...Cowsills, Spanky and Our Gang, etc. Love it.

I like the phase switch and doubling on the vocals. Its a common technique but it suits your style well. Great song!
Great mix and production work!
Nice voice.
Great voice - - great mixing!
This is freaking hilarious! (however I would NOT let your therapist hear this)
Love the song and LOVE that smooth, contralto voice!
Nicely done, meditative and peaceful.
Really enjoyed this. Bass as the lead, when well done like your
I ended up really enjoying this song! Nice inventive mixing as well.
Really dark, eerie but I like it. Well mixed too.
Nicely done dance music!
I'm really digging the 'down home' vibe on this!
Creative use of autotune. I like it.
