Initial harmony, that infinitely moving in space, becomes thiner and thiner and finally turns to chaos. We, humans, are able to distinguish harmony in seeming casual sounds. We're able re-create it.

The piece, as it is presented here, is very far from the original spontaneous idea. I have shortened unnecessary parts, note by note, until piece became shorter and shorter and... until I realized that, if not stop refining it will be only consist of one note [and the piano will be broken] (maybe worth a try next time, by the way?)

Hi Rich, I have no special knowledge of the type "I was on a sound technician, " or something like that. I, however, since childhood (and still) listen to a lot of music, different kind of. And so when working on the next compositions I'm usually already know what I want to get (or, I think I know:-). Knowing this, I pick the appropriate instruments, tools and software. Details, if you really want, by email.
This song was inspired from all the snowstorms we have been having this winter, another on the way tonight.....I decided to prog it out for this one....prog-rock.....lets bring it back.
An unusual traditional tune from the first Scartaglen album way back in 1984. Going through stuff the other day and ran across the LP and couldn't even remember the tune or having recorded it. I played guitar on this track

Beautiful mate very nice.
Well, I would say that's pure gold.
Beautiful. Very moving Igor.
Beautiful and touching. (How many Tessas do you know? Just checking.)
Tender playing, lovely sounds.
Strange, ethereal, and beautiful. Like finding the end of the rainbow in a carnival full of faded charms.

Beautiful Igor. I can feel the everything drifting in and out of phase around me.
Very pretty piano playing and I like the added sounds too like the rushing sea, lovely!
Haunting, stirring, everything it should be.
Beautiful!
