One of my all-time favorite pieces as well, very nicely re-orchestrated... sort of a Wendy Carlos/Tomita feel. Rich and inventive selection of synth sounds.
This song was inspired by the Life of Pi...and yes, i feel like a drifter at times, floating, going no where.
I've been drifting
i've been drifting for days
going no where
being driven by the waves
driven mad by the wind and her voices…
That didn't stop her.
Main vocals/bleeps by Shreya, keys and backing vocals by me. Actually, my baby daughter was in my arms while I was doing those vocals and she started crying. Even though I cropped that part, I didn't use any noise reduction…
This work is dedicated to Andy Jaffe, jazz composer, pianist, arranger and teacher. I studied with Andy at Williams College from 1988 to 1992, and his approach to music-making and teaching has influenced everything all my work since. He once related…
It's a part of a documentary 15min. movie, I recently produced. The title of the movie is "Parvomaistora" - "The Grand Master".
Finally, I could produce the film about my father, who was a great inventor and blacksmith master - Ilia Kovachev…
First day back from the jungle in Central America, remixed this tune. Had to start off the new year in the U.S.A reminding myself that captivity will keep me returning to the jungle forever.

A test run with my new Line 6 DL4 delay pedal. Recorded with a handheld mp3 recorder, hence the ambient room noise. The DL4 was fed into a BOSS loop pedal also. No overdubs, all on the fly.

Excellent!
This is beautiful! It reminds me of Anthony Phillips' work.
Has a bit of baroque feel, and very frenetic, perfect for a 18th century car chase scene :-) This is nicely written.
Very pretty composition, and well played. A mesmerizing piece.
