Twisted manipulation in Pure Data sampling and breaking up a 30min recording I did last year called Shiver. The patch samples an audio file somewhat randomly of which I was capturing the edit in another buffer.
Cool envelope I found and tweaked over two oscillators being initialized with random frequencies 0-1400 hz. Built two loops into the patch and it's soup! Credit inspiration from Paris Young with reminding me about PD's randomizer object!

First foray with a Eurorack module in conjunction with my Pure Data patch. Also using a delay box from Timebox Instruments on this which has some theremin ability. Created for this week's Sound-In fest.
Made in Pure Data tweaking envelopes and a windowing technique to shape the oscillators which there are two in this looping and interacting, 120 and 160hz.

I've been musically idle for about 3 months having been focusing on another muse from the past, photography in the 'film' sense. This week I had several things leading me to want to give time to an improv the current Sound-In Facebook group…
Another computer generated composition largely created using Csound, an audio programming environment built in the c language by Barry Vercoe in the mid-80's at MIT. I've recently been experimenting with it creating synthesis sounds. This piece…
This is cool. I am a programmer by day. Never heard of Csound but have you tried PureData. Its similarly low level but its visual (drag and drop and draw instead of typing).
Another GarageBand recording for Soind-In, 3-5/1/2019. Title is a parody of Giles Farnaby's Dream by Penguin Cafe Orchestra, and was done since it was recorded while watching Midsomer Murders.
Your subtle is amazingly spooky as always Roger. You get such tones and clarity and still make me think of the Smoke Monster from Lost in many of your pieces, this one no less.
Kavin some lovely stuff and nice edits, transitions. Like the distortion quality on the near ending acoustic and electric blend before your finish. Congrats on a good month of dailies. Impressed.
From December 2017, my take on an old classic, with a little twist of a bonus number near the end. It may be the first tune I did in 6/8 time, at least that anyone has heard from me. This (sort of) should have a rolling highlands sound to it…
Thanks for listening and commenting on my track In 2. I'm returning the favor and the support. Well produced and interesting techno to my ears. Keep the muse going!

A lovely aural dream!
I love this, it's so mesmerizing and the distortion is a nice touch!
thanks for making this Jim..
Cool vibes indeed!
great --- this is really so mellow-
Tranquil and meditative Jim
nice so pleasant and wonderful--
Nice array of sounds, digging those harmonics.
This is cool in the same way that Bill Frisell’s album “Is That You?” Is cool.
Nice one, Jim! Definitely got a jazzy undertone going on.
I love the atmosphere of this! It's reminding me of the sound of singing wine glasses
excellent halloween music --
the high pitch seems to be difficult for me to listen to-- not sure why I have such difficulty with high pitches?
cool--
Jim... this is a very cool piece... especially around the 4 minute mark. Well done!!! Joseph Benzola
Sounds nice and chill man
Nice timeless feel to this, Faheyesque indeed

Lovely Jim.
Chris great lead sound on this!
Bruce this was like the 'thing inside'. Love the subtle in the beginning to the huge moments later and the hard cut at end!
like the backwards
Nice Jim!
Bill you added some nice edge to these and upper freq stuff. Like it!
far away in the hills and over...

departures for you Ben, new ground in other words. Voicing very etherial and positive light emitting.
Like Chris. Efx on your voices is nicely ELOish meets CSN and the mando cello reminds me of Dave Pegg :)
bit Thomas Dolby and Gary Neumann like mid way
love Fudge's comment about this! you have a nice balance btwn kind of techno and earthy. Dig it!
Fantastic! field drums underneath perfect set.
Chris this is lovely. Commented on SI Fripp lines on top of an almagmation of contrasts or some such.

Really nice covers Gary. I've listened to this one several times now. Good beat and psychedelic tones.
Nice dark colors like Gary Neumann with a hip sophisticated groove.
