Recorded this afternoon at my place. A big "Ey up" to The Reprobate who went with the idea and played some cool lead - man that guy can play!
Hope you enjoy!

2nd song form the Bunker Sessions 2013..
Sunshine
The flower blooms all by its self
With the love from the sun and nothing else but a little rain and life becomes real
We need the sun and here it is
It sits above like gods…
Writing this song was a very cathartic experience. This gamut of emotions took place in just one week - last week.
Unfortunately, I couldn't sing the first word without it sounding ridiculous, and so I decided to get back to my Northern roots…
MrMudd&MrGold is a duo project with my friend from Brooklyn, Jim Goodin. Inspired by our common interest for acoustic improv and love for the music of Townes VanZandt and Steve Earle.

When I was about 5 years old, my grandmother gave me a set of those old 78 rpm "records" titled "Songs Many Lands". For some reason this song was always my favorite... to the point I don't even remember anymore what other songs were in that collection…
I started to speak but forgot what I wanted to say.
I started to write but I ran out of room on the page.
I opened up all the windows and it started to rain.
I opened my head and took out a piece of my brain.
My body woke up but it felt…
Solo acoustic finger picking thing I've been working on for a while. Sometime around 1968 I started studying with Mr. George Bennett who taught me the rudiments of finger picking. Later when we played some gigs together he also taught me the rudiments…
