I have dreams of playing this well... No seriously... Just the other night I was playing smooth like this (and sadly awoke to find I am still just a mere mortal). Man, I hope this pre-sets me for some good REM sleep tonight.
Great track, Kavin!
my up coming IF comment: a most strange blues backing track but it works well. Some sounds remind me of the daxophone which I recently discovered. Very cool!
Thanks for your comment mate. I don't know any crimson apart from the records that is. But maybe I can get hold of some sheet music and see how I go.
Cheers

i like to walk on a day like…
Reg has been trying to learn the art of slowing down, relaxing under the pressure of abstinence.......................it seems to be going well .............
I used about half of the tones produced in my stop sign video as samples looped in Kontakt and improvised on an 88 key controller in 17 equal notes per octave. Not something you'd listen to for enjoyment.
Flinch
I'm guilty
I took the bait again
And here I am again
Always with the same stupid grin
And I didn't go as planned
Few things do I've learned
From the top I pulled it
but I didn't see how far you'd go
didn't I see you flinch…
Well, this may be the final tweaking of this nice little sing along song...
I sent this fun little sing along off to Jim of MTC fame, and once again he has outdone himself... And I can't thank him and his wife (who appears covertly) enough…
almost forgotten because while i did this in may of 2009, i forgot about it until just today may 2011,,i was walking out my studio door, when i noticed an old cd with a marking pen title,, brought it with me in the car and took a listen,, not…
This is a musical setting of Bruce Andrew’s poem “jjj†from his book “Moebius†thanks to PennSound archive.
To create the music I hijacked Norm Harris’ Y Class Steam Locomotive Bell sample and his percussion piece Ilesa and added…
Not so long ago my daughter came from school and told me that they had a litterature lesson in where they had to do an analysis of a short story. The short story happened to be one of my favourite writer's, Ray Bradbury's, story 'One Timeless…

Gorgeous tones. A very beautiful track.
wonderful guitar as always Kavin. I like the intertwined guitar work and the non-standard percussion

I do plan on making another. I need to research what wood to use instead of the cool looking but stab in the dark wine box this time.
Fridays sound like good fun. I love all the squelchy sounds you put in there and yet the very laid back atmosphere.
Very cool! w;-)
Love the flavours.
Most poignant and thought provoking music.
@Wildgeas, no one jumped but the bomb squad was out in force!
Hypnotic!

At the risk of dating myself, this reminds me of the Small Faces..which is good. It has that 60's psych pop feel.
Mucho thanks Johnny Stone, ER et al. Maybe soon I'll have something new to post, if I can drag my butt off FB.
Reg been listening to Enya too? Nice one here.
Nice! Well played.
Good one JMT!
pretty creepy. But cool.
Really like these tones and ambient sounds!
Simply beautiful.
The guitar sounds great on this.
Mysterious psych piece, well done!
I like everything about this! Great colab!
thanks. @ vaisvil, no overdubbed the synth later just for a little spice.
Well done my man, glad you "discovered" it.
Hope you feel better, I sure do!
thanks folks, yes mmi I busted the high G on my 12 and need to get some work done on the gtr...
is this what they call post-psych-rock? Whatever it is it's great!
Nice transitions and enjoyed reading about your methods.
Really enjoying this playlist. Like a different musical reality going on here. The vocals are distant in the mix but that may be intentional.
Cool. Nicely done.
Love RB, and this is a nice musical reference.
