Had these backing tracks laying around on my drive for a while and didn't know what to do with them, so grabbed my Ebow and a fretless electric that I built for myself a couple years ago and had a go. My fretless playing is really in its infancy…
Straight ahead stone city electric blues for an old friend who used to spend hours spinning BB King and Mike Bloomfield records for me. Recorded back sometime at the end of 2006 on old analog equipment

So I still hate Ableton Live with a passion for anything piano related. But things seem to go better if I head straight to arrangement view once I'm out of the improvising stage and do my recording there, rather than trying to think that session…
We found a nice bathroom, and, moved by whimsy, decided to write this little shuffle for y'all. Took us about 15 minutes to write and record. It'd lose its spontaneity, otherwise, no?
Style:
Crosby-Stills-Nash-Young-esque Bathroom Folk

I got word this morning that my dog died sometime overnight, following his emergency surgery.
It's never easy to lose a pet, but I find it's especially difficult when they're young and you were expecting to spend many more good years with them…
First post-24h tune. Music written and recorded throughout the day... and lyrics in the evening. WARNING: This one is another cliché romantic synth-pop tune; same *muse* as the last one.
Written, recorded, and mixed in 24 hours. August 01-02, 2009, from 6am to 6am.
Instrumentation: Two acoustic guitars, electric guitar (picked and bowed), fretless bass, about 7 different flutes, two tabla drums, rattles, tambourine, didgeridoo…
Also till can't believe that all of you pulled off this quality in 24 hrs. I practically crucified myself over a damn track less than a minute and half long!

This is just an untitled electronic/dance/house thing I started a couple weeks ago and a little stuck on what to do next with it. Any ideas? Also uploaded to Kompoz.com to see if there's anyone out there that would like to add to it.
Yeah that's cool! I think Beth was right though- a little more varied percussion parts throughout. Of course I'd be tempted to just turn it into a full out rock thing midway through. Full kit drums and crashing guitar, but that's me!
Comments on kirklynch's stuff
i like this a lot!
blue hairs
Holy crap!!!! This is so good.
Damn Classy Music Mr Lynch! I need to be sitting in a penthouse listening to this! Superb Vibe!
Cor fretless! I'm not brave enough for that yet ;)
I think you need to continue such soul searches - you're successful, Master Kirk. Longer was even better ...
Brilliant mate fretless is a great sound which ever way you play it. The Ebow is excellent top job mate.
K, the fretless was exactly what was needed. excellent playing as usual.
Very nice stuff, that E-Bow sounds so good, I gotta get me one of those.
Very Good , has that Floyd drift to it.
