track 4 from the Jobin album
review quote musictomyears on Jamendo: My all time favourite.. This truly filled me with such sincerity, bliss and euphoria I can hardly speak or write to tell you. It heightened my senses to the max. And it…
You may comment as much as you want :). And yes, got a spare room for dedicated musiclovers, even another one in South America if you like pure tropics ;). Very inspiring too...
Hello NAC... Thanks.... I'm a dedicated lover of ableton and soundforge, the first for improvising live, and the latter for maing great wav's to work with and a bit final mastering....
Kidnapped indeed; by someone you trust, and the reddest of wines was just starting to flow the blood warmer when it became apparent there was something else in that glass.
All of this is performed - Norm's many percussion devices, Fender Mustang, and GR-20 driven by the guitar for the rest of the voices excepting a bit of a choir at the end.
very nice live phasing, keeping the rest, and working towards intensity round 5" followed by a great retirement..great live event it must've been. Well done
This is a pure meditation song based on huge bell sounds that resonate and vibrate for extended periods of time. Gradually rising ethereal echoes from sacred eastern choral tradition mix with the bells to form a calm and majestic cosmic setting…
This is the final scene of "The Lost Child," my big work for flute/actor/percussion/electronics. In this scene the protagonist/wild woman Ana realizes she will be outed as a fraud, and so takes her own life.
flute, me; voice, Benjamin Pierce;…
this is the midi file called porcupine-22 feed thru my supernova II not sure where clones got the file or if that was one he made himself but I believe it was in the section of MIDI files to feed into the nova.. :) then the edits and the mixing…
great energetic stuff full of tension and layers, nearly got lost here like drifting between multiple concerts in a festival. Still lokking for the holes though , in edit 2?? ;)
Okay this is one for the serious noise freaks only.
This is three instances of Loop Shifter that I played in real time using my Novation Launchpad.
Turns out the launchpad makes a great keyboard for loop shifter, better than a real keyboard…
Thanks for yer nice and encouraging comments..
to CS: yep, residents is superb architecture, to NAC: where to reply is difficult here, but am glad its a 2-way thing
drip by drip..
I did the guitar and bass tracks first, then procured my 10 year olds cello for the main bass line :) I also tried my luck playing cello with a bow on this track- which was a new experience.
The trumpet and violin bits are played…
I swore that I would NEVER upload this. Was having a bad day trying to loop "nice" acoustic guitar sounds and got frustrated so grabbed my Taylor and plugged it into a cheesy Effects box and straight into the looper. Started twiddling knobs and…
"Aww" they said. And I guess it was cute... I don't know... I don't what's cute I guess... anyways, where was I? Oh yeah, who am I? who am I... who am I... ?
wayward thwart cross music, indeed beefheart meeting the residents but with the own CS approach. The whole album is really a masterpiece from a very matured artist
