A story of conflict between a couple. I played the part of the male, Shelagh (I think) was herself. Came together in the studio and was a favourite live.
A song that I wrote in the mid-90s, became a bigger number when my band 'Y' took it into the studio and we tightened it up a notch. Proud of this one (as of all of my babies) G:)
The story is of the actor on the stage...

Moonbee started life as a doodle, then he was turned into a little story, then a song!
This is Part 1 of the series - I have no idea how many there will be in total!
Enjoy! xox

This is a little ditty I did for a local songwriting group I'm in. The prompt was "No instruments" and a previous prompt was "One chord only", so I combined the two.
The haikus were written for a creativity group I'm in, so I used them for…
Warts and all - the idea behind the song was that I would probably not had the same day as Lou Reed and this is a true representation of the most probable outcome!
I thought I'd uploaded this ages ago!
Less chaotic 'Chaos' after I found a melody I was happy with, and the delay button :)
Enjoy! xox
P.S. I knew I'd seen it on here somewhere - it was uploaded by Jip under Third Quarter of the Moon :)
How can you forget you've written a song? I found this back-tracking through my recordings, and I love it - one of my favourites for a host of reasons. G:)
I put up a wren house in the trees and garden where I was living and surprisingly a house wren moved in. Every day he sang his song in a repeating pattern ... a natural loop. I held a mic out the window one morning and taped his beautiful repetitive…
WOW! What a beautiful idea. I saw a wren in our garden a couple of weeks ago, sat on the fence in the snow. Such a tiny little thing. This is gorgeous :)

I'd like to hear your voice more prominently as well, but it does work well like this (I just like vocals!) Lovely feel to it, big smile music.
