Distilled1 says/ Beautiful! love the song, love the lyrics and love the difference in the lead and backing vocals! there is a definite style /sound difference and it really makes this song shine!
Hi Tim, just listened to your RPM album - excellent stuff. Personal faves 40 Days, Flood, Donkey and this fine rockin' tune. Glad there's someone else out there fond of a fuzzy guitar!
In the greater scheme of this vast universe, we're just invisible specks. Something to remember as we trip through this bizarre human life of ours. Recorded for the August 2022, RPM Record Every Month Challenge.
This one is short and to the point. Dedicated to those with with guts to fly in the face of conformity and live their best life. I try but it's hard to detox after all these years. Recorded as part of the August 2022 RPM - Record Every Month challenge…

“Shine” by W. Ng, written and recorded in February 2022 for the RPM Challenge.
Outtake from the 2022 RPM Challenge Sessions. Just one of those songs that doesn't seem to work. Wanted to recut the vocals because they were basically scratch vocals…
Cool mood and vibe. I'll echo an earlier comment about this being the most accessible of your songs, but that's not a bad thing. This reminds me of something from a Brian Ferry album.
Some say, "It's the price you gotta pay"
Some say, "You gotta learn to walk away"
But I'm still standing in the light
And I won't go down without a fight
Some say, "True love is just a lie"
Some say, "You'll give it up before you die…
If I told you how well I know you
Would you tell me it's not true
Have you got yourself believing
No one could know you like I do
I know it's been a long time coming
So many others you thought would treat you right
But I'm gonna show you…
Raised on vinyl and a needle that rides
To a paper circle at the end of both sides
Between the speakers, cover in hand
Sit in silence after Jungleland
I will not trade one bit of my soul for their pieces of gold
I've seen a world they'll…
RPM 2022. I finished a song.. does that count?
Well the early bird
Catches the worm
Eats it up
And shits it out
Onto the lawn
And into the dirt
Where the worms crawl
And use the soil to form
To be eaten once more
By the early birds…
Man... that percussion just embeds itself into your soul. It's a hypnotic joy and makes me think of an electronic version of "Fool's Gold" by Stone Roses.
Great work this year, my friend!
The random wisdom of bar room philosophers, and the magic of sipping whiskey in a darkened room.

frickin awesome.
Haha, the voice at the beginning is really good :p. Nice tune there too.
very cool.
re-visit. Very Sgt Pepper-like! I'm diggin' your stuff BIG time.
Hell yeah!!!
I could listen to you tracks over and over until I eventually get sick and burned out.
Poor Rabbit.
Is this an original or is this a cover of Husker Du? Either way, it's a beaut!

Don't look now, there's a Brian on the dance floor. :) This reminds me of the Stones in their disco phase. Very cool stuff.
It starts off as a lost Cars track and then turns into a really cool indie rocker. Awesome!
You turned my song on it’s head in the most delightful way! I think I like your version better than my own.
I fail to understand why you consider this unworthy of inclusion on an album. This is Wilsun at the peak of his powers.

I love it when you sound like Elliott Smith.
Another great tune just begging for a full band treatment.
Someone needs to give this a full band treatment. You have a serious pop vibe working here.
Excellent polished sound here, Keith.
Excellent backing vocals here.
Glad to have you back, D. Rockin' tune.
There goes Moody putting us all in our place again. Just remarkable. Absolutely remarkable.

Beautiful atmosphere.
Yep. Peak Wilsun here. Great job.
This is a tremendous piece of work, Matt. You should feel very proud of what you've produced here.
Wow. Really great stuff, Brian. Great space and mood.
The new vocals really make this already awesome song shine even more. Well done!
Check out Mr. phasey-voice.
So awesome!
