I need an electric geeetar. My weary old Crafter electroacoustic picks up every touch. 'Scuse the solo, I'm only a strummer..
Anyway, the song. Clogging up my brain, had to get it out. Some lasses don't know what they look like, and some lads…
As a surprise for the missus (she gets out of hospital tomorrow after a 9 week stay) I've revamped a little ditty I wrote for her. I thought I'd put an Elvis slant on it including the ridiculous club style ending. I also slipped a bit of a British…
you know they say you have to write some rubbish before the good stuff comes out?... Entirely Garageband, not a live instrument on it but it was clogging my head up.

Oh yeah, I'm with Jimbo... superb vocals...
And I like songs about the missus (my missus didn't realise all mine were about her until she read the "abouts" on here!! lol)

I'm up there too. Please don't scream, but there's some stuff that Pink does (don't hate us) on a compilation called Try This that we really love, not the commercial stuff she does, and we somehow saw a connection. Love it.

Writing this song was a very cathartic experience. This gamut of emotions took place in just one week - last week.
Unfortunately, I couldn't sing the first word without it sounding ridiculous, and so I decided to get back to my Northern roots…
I've been messing with Jip's Gong Bong! Enjoy :o)
Do what you do, do it for you
Make your imaginings come true
Follow your dreams and not the crowd
Be you for you and shout it loud, shout it proud, yeah
See your big dream
Show your true self…
A saucy little ditty from the Jip and LJ laboratory. The first thing I've sung for 3 weeks (been resting a very strained voice - eek!)
I'm having a party, I'm inviting everyone
There'll be much frivolity, booze flowing, so much fun
I may…
Just me and my acoustic.
I've just learned how to record both at the same time.
I didn't know this song the day before this recording.
It was done in one take, with dodgy guitar playing, wrong lyrics and sore throat :)
It's the beauty of having an instrument and a voice. Songs just need to be played like this and it lifts you up and you drift away on a cloud of happy. Guitars don't hurt people, people do.
Love it little sister xox M
I thought I'd uploaded this ages ago!
Less chaotic 'Chaos' after I found a melody I was happy with, and the delay button :)
Enjoy! xox
P.S. I knew I'd seen it on here somewhere - it was uploaded by Jip under Third Quarter of the Moon :)

A quickly improvised tune with some stream-of-consciousness lyrics. Written/recorded hastily in the dead of night on Tuesday 11/27 with a short overdub session on Thursday 11/29, when I should have been sleeping.
All basic tracks…
A Flamenco piece in palo(genre) of Taranta, ending with a little Buleria. This is about a man, who wanders like ghost along snowfields flooded with starlight near one northern city. He pointlessly looks to the sky. A kind of city legend from the…

I’ve come this way like those before me
And those yet still to come
It fills me with a sense of wonder
To watch the rising sun
how many times
how many souls
Have acted out these scenes
It fills me with…
Our history was held in objects and places. We didn't realize as children that we were standing amongst the ashes of the loves of our ancestors. Still, we knew back then that love was possible and that we'd all move mountains for it.
Another collab with Jip, with me adding the vibes, pad of the orient, flute and vocals.
From the original da da da da das before I came up with any lyrics, I wasn't happy with any of the melodies. This is the result of me getting bored with…
A song about, well, s**t happens, but all in all, it's alright. Thanks to TwoRegs (singing), Freight Drive Reprobate (singing and harmonica)and Lady Jane (Singing in posh mode). Hope you like.
Jip1965 came round to kick my ass into gear and played a bit of rhythm i did the rest and then sent it off to the good Lady Jane to do her stuff and very nice stuff indeed! Cheers Me Lady!!! x
Guy out on the town looking for some action. Girl out on the town looking for some action. Meet in a club where cheesy disco is playing - they don't care, it's not the reason they are there. Collab with Lady Jane. Had us both laughing - enjoy.
I've been messing about with my virtual keyboard this week, in preparation of an amazing collaboration I'll be working on soon :)
Beat and sax are from Mixcraft.
Enjoy! xox
Ok - a collab between myself, Lady Jane and FDR. I hope the MP3 does it justice. Nice one you guys.
I put the basics together, FDR did lead and suggested the theme on "gliding", and LJ created the words, sang, added some effects (chimes, woodblock…

They say Elvis is everywhere but I hear some of him coming out from you. Sweet production. Great job -- Rock on!
LOL at the Coronation Street theme tune! And that last note is very Op Knocks ;) x
Most tenderly sung. A perfect pressie for your wife's homecoming. Hey, great last note!
Ooh nearly got movin' on the dance floor....( to many old bones for that now ) but I did some chair moves :)
Look at YOU go! :) x

I like the foundation of keys that this floats on and some righteous vox and layers, let it Rock and Strut.

Beautiful. Everything has been said in the previous comments. I particularly agree with Reg about a lullaby. xox
