Where's all this sappy music coming from? The Olympics were on. I must have been watching too much figure skating or something.
Unmastered track from my 2010 RPM Challenge submission.

MMI, I just listened to your album straight through and I'm impressed! I was transported, not questioning, just floating through the ice caves shimmering.
this is the music that probably played in my head when I was a child as I dared to stare into the SUN for as long as I could before blinking. Then, I'd blink, close my eyes and stare at the pink wall of skin set aglow, letting my mind wander up into the firmament.
Excellent!!!
I got stuck on a silly little musical phrase, noodling around with it on the piano, unable to let go of it and unable to really develop it into something more.
I recorded myself playing a number of variations as I searched in vain for a deeper…
Made with the Boité Diabolique playing some piano and cello samples. I did a bit of hand editing in Live and then added some light compression, reverb, and limiting.
Once again the source material is a snippet of beautiful piano from [Sudara](http://alonetone.com/sudara) only this time I fed it to a new Reaktor instrument that I am working on call Tukuramu.
Okay so tukuramu does not mean earth-quake but…
I was working on a piano phrase played by Alonetone supremo [Sudara](http://alonetone.com/sudara) (about which, more later).
One of the approaches I took was to load the phrase into the Time Freezer instrument and play it. I kind of got lost…
Started out be an innocent little jazzy study in quartal harmony, but the DL4 was still in my signal path and things went downhill from there! Another done with my beloved '58 Stratotone
An experiment I recorded yesterday with a rig I put together for more or less ambient sounds using two loopers and nearly every effects unit I own. I have no idea who Clark was but he owned the '58 Harmony Stratotone that I used on this cut. His…
This one is live from the cellar last night...Unplugged recorded with one mic..so close your eyes and imagine me here alone on a wet Monday night in Sheffield in the cellar alone as Elvis and Jim had heard about an Happy hour round the corner…
I'm trying to experiment with intentionally combining two different sounds. Since I seem to find this difficult I am starting with using a drone as one of the sounds taking my inspiration from the opening tracks of the Brian Eno & Jah Wobble…
Comments on mmi's stuff
so do you think brian eno heard too much olympic music?? i'm digging these tracks and i completely missed the figure skating.
Wild tune great to listen to while i'm slidding along in calm waters fishing.
Listening to this again... I'm reminded of some of the better tracks by Tangerine Dream. Wonderful!
Beautiful. I like the guitar part. Ha! The reversed guitar swells are a pretty cool touch.
Really really good album. Proof you don't have to be loud to be interesting.
I am really loving this album, it's a blissfully shimmertastic!
Gorgeous!
Nice work :)
Lovely melody, very relaxing.
S'lovely. Painfully so.
Am halfway through your album. It's beautiful. It's like a massage. You're a great friend to me, and a superb sonic masseuse.

Piper at the Gates of Dawn... I must get a copy of that Pink Floyd album if for nothing else at least for a high dose of inspiration.
Lovely, sweet music. I'm proud my photo is on the cover. Hope your album will do well! Good luck. Robin
I can tell this is gonna be good stuff already, right up my geetar alley.
This is brilliant!
That's nice.. It almost makes me want to rush out and get Reaktor. Any chance of a VST version of it someday?
Or perhaps this is the music aliens play while they dissect humans. ;) ****added to favourites****
this also qualifies as appropriate music to dissect an extra terrestrial to.

Nice. I listed a pile of times. Apparently I fall into the quite pleasing camp :)
Super cool. I love the dark tension.
There's gold in them thar waves.
Very cool. Took me back to my days of listening to Michael Brook.
Very cool and fruitful sonic mining. Inspiring.
Nice! Had to do some googling while listening to learn about quartal harmony.
you should sell tickets to your soundchecks; I'd pay
Very cool. Be interested in hearing how you connected all the bits.
Really nice. Wow.
Great collab!
Good groove. Definitely worth exploring more.
What MtC said. Longer.
Out of the park! Great fun!
Sweet cinematic goodness. Autumn leaves flying as I drive my car a twisty New England road.
