An experiment that became a meditation.
Two tracks. One guitar, one looper, one e-bow, two tracks and a touch of Live's Overdrive effect on the second e-bow track.
The starting premise was could I get the sound of many guitars by continually…

Is that too much texting? Either way, the track's kinda vertigo-esque* and full. Very unnerving.
*because I don't know if "vertigous" is a word. Google returns a mixed bag.
"Slow Build Gamelan" is based on three Indonesian Gongs from FreeSound.org: 24615__anamorphosis__GMB_Jegog_1.wav, 24613__anamorphosis__GMB_Gong_Lanang.wav & 24612__anamorphosis__GMB_Gong_Kempur.wav. I took the three recordings & strung…
When I put these last 3 songs on itunes, my computer did something weird. It told me that these songs were already out there on the internet somewhere. So, in order not to infringe on any copyright laws, I would like to assure everyone that NONE…
Yeah I like this track a lot. I really like the vox treatment; kind of a twangy Bob Mould (I'm almost curious as to how this would sound with heavier guitars :-)
This was a sort of vignette of the various ways we might travel across the United States: automobile, trains, and planes.

Wonderful guitarsound. Really love this one!
Beautiful soundscape...
This feels like the soundtrack to "Buck Rogers in the 21st century" re-imagined by Ronald D. Moore. Kudos.
Still awesome ebowing!
Great!
Damn- I would love to be able to do stuff like this. This is great!
Works like a charm. (Better than the sisterhood method of shunning mixing altogether. *nods*)

_Really_ slow build. You're a patient man Mr. Freelance.
Dunno if you intended it but a fine tip of the hat to the late great Lux Interior.
Pardon the French but this is fucking awesome.

Tracks like this on gray mornings. Mmmm good.
Too funny. And really good.
Is it hot in here?
Fucking awesome! Must've been a fun gig.
Hmm, I have a friend like this...
Made my night.
Very beautiful. I won't insult you with the comparisons to other players. I'll just say that you're up there with them.
Damn you. I'm gonna have this stuck in my head for a long time! Nice work.
Inquiring minds want to know... what kind of "stuff" were you experimenting with? Nice track, btw :-)

Wow what a kick drum!
Well crafted dance track...
