To me, as a songwriter, I have come to the "conclusion" that what I might say to explain a song is functionally THE BRIDGE. Your explanation adds so much to the song maybe it's bridge time.

My idea for the song was, what if life was a bar, and all 7.5 billion earthlings were group into just a handful of characters that could fit into a bar -- what is everyone doing? What are they thinking?

Makes me want to hear more of the story. Thanks for commenting on TRUCK. It's something I wrote for DARK BLOOD, River Phoenix's last movie. It plays while the nuclear explosion takes place.

I visualize this one, personally, as being perfect for a one-on-one battle, but good for both a contest between warriors or wizards.

Having wrote a song myself called "Last Night," I had to check out yours. I'm with Greg on the bounce and Fat Burrito on the harmony. Can definitely discern a "The Who" influence, and that's just far out groovy.

The poetry is excellent, and the music is dark yet delicious -- like chocolate. Great vocal delivery. The mix down and mastering job produced a powerful recording. The music is a Stephen Stills-style early '70s-flavor of that effective country/folk rock formulae of simple and sweet, allowing the lyrics and vocals to shine. And in this case your vocals do the lyrics serious justice, and those lyrics are moving, touching. They sucked me in, inviting me to visualize the setting and experience the emotions. This is a for-real good bit of songwriting. This was how it was done in our day, but the art seems lost on the under 30 generation.
