this was in a group of cd's I discovered in my apartment the other day.. mostly regular CD types, I reworked the mp3 compression to fit it on alonetone. I am still thinking of breaking open that set of dvd's with mp3,s on them and uploading the whole thing this dvd's are musics from 2004 and earlier,..it seems that every time i go to digitize some cassettes I end up just giving up and making more music..so I will do that first then..
William this is pretty cool - not sure if you posted this on Sound-In but digging it. Lot of thought in your placement of your sources to stand out in the 'noise' level. Don't be stranger to SI btw.
Voice through EHX Stereo Memory Man and Zoom RFX-300. Slightly different arrangement from usual, with only one output from EHX to Zoom, with the other going directly to the recorder, as well as the stereo pair from the Zoom. Submitted to Sound…
Wasn't really planned that way, but listening to the completed piece made me think this could be what our little avian buddy on Mars might sound like to the locals. Same set-up as Kowanakita, but sound source is trombone. Also submitted to Sound…
One of those pieces that starts off short and simple, then after going through various modifications ends up like this. Original sounds are from a Roland SE-02 of a randomly varying repeated pattern; the mono sound file was copied exactly and…
This one was started a couple of years ago – but it needed a substantial bit of rewriting to make it actually singable. It ended up about an elemental nature spirit looking after its minions. However the original inspiration was getting up in…
When I was young we lived opposite a big play area - lots of grass and trees and bushes to rampage around - and in the middle a tarmac playground with the "amusements" - a witches hat (aka umbrella), a long rocking horse with saddles along its…
Duet piece recorded between a Eurorack modular synthesizer I built and a Behringer Model D (minimoog clone). Tons of reverb and delay for added effect.
great!! --- I like this so mellow and well mixed --- one of the curves of guitar changes.. reminds me of that early rolling stones songs "No Expectations" from "let it bleed" --- you probably can hear it too?
