It was a curious and wondrous thing.
One night I was in my studio adding some percussion to the "Quiet Rituals" track by Barry van Oudtshoorn, when my 4 young children (with whom I was long over-due to be tucking into bed and reading a bed…

Tight Groove! Hate it when your instruments decide to steal your beer...but hey...it's a small price to pay for having them play along for free on a track, right? btw...can't believe you used to listen to KY102 back in the day! Where you from originally?

@Geas:
Uh, that would have freaked me out too. And how about when you have your headphones up loud, really focusing on the project, and you look up and somebody has (quietly, so as not to disturb you) walked into the studio to ask you a question or something? I've had to edit out a explicit derogatory once in awhile - but the adrenaline rush is awesome!

Ok, so I'm just a percussionist, and if your only tool is a hammer, the entire world looks like a nail. I get it. And I also get that our songs are our children, so we should be very careful about whom we let them play with.
When I first heard…
HaHaHa!
I am still laughing at you, the collective interweb. No idea, right? Then admit defeat. I am the only person on earth who can conquer this melody. (Not really vain, just looking for mathematical discussion.)
With huge thanks to the awesomeinfinity Jake, Wrinkled Shirt, who let me use his gorgeous instrumental track "Gaza".

Moonlight woke up, falling down
Why are you scared, free as a bird

Chris, if I could play kit as well as MTC mixes it (or if anyone could) I would quit my day job. But, sincerely, thanks for thinking, even just for a second, that I could pull that off.
A love song for the heart break fest on the otherside.....
I DON'T KNOW
Baby don't leave
Don't leave me cold
The nights still young but it's starting to feel old
The day we met still burns bright in my mind
But I know that deep inside you…
Reg. I hate to hear you in such pain. You need a good week out with the boys some place close to the equator. When we bring you back, things will look much better. New clothes. New shoes. New hangover. New tattoo. New lease on life.

Norm played the percussion first, which is a Bembe pattern; I couldnt help playing a melody and creating lyrics for this perc track. Thanks for the listen, Enjoy!
this was originally a song about breaking through paradigms but turned into a song about a girl.
Keys and string samples from Korg, MIDI with the old Ensoniq,
one diving board.
Thanks for the listen ,enjoy... RW
This is a recording of Norm and me playing together a few months ago. I didnt have any percussion instruments so Norm was on a Roland electric trap set and I had a cello. I looped some of the stuff we did that night, and retrofitted the rest…

My synth counted down 4-3-2-1 for me once. During a late RPM night. Scared the Sh*t right out of me.
Very freaking cool man!
Excellent track, Norm... I may need to mess with this as well!

Don’t be so cruel. Give us more Peppermint Sky. Vicious, you are.

Time for me to listen to this again.
More cello!
This is still epic and one of my all time favs.
Ha! You could never lose us...
Producer of Dark Side of the Moon! I like his music too, but this was perhaps his greatest contribution... Well done.
I love the bass work here...
Time for my annual comment. A key song in the soundtrack of my life.
Outstanding guitar work here.
How lovely to hear Bee again, whom I would happily throw over my shoulder, any day.
Fuck the mean time. In the meantime, I'm going to let heaven pour all over everyone I love. Thanks for reminding me.
Ahh. Like a warm bath, rare, but delightful, my moments with Street invigorate me.
